Role Summary

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, driving the design and implementation of technology solutions that enable automation, digitalization, and operational excellence. In a new manufacturing setup, this role is pivotal in transforming manual workflows, harmonizing processes, and building a scalable, data-driven manufacturing ecosystem. The BSA combines strong analytical capabilities, process improvement expertise, and digital fluency to deliver impactful solutions aligned with business goals.

Scope and Key Areas of Focus
  • Business & Systems Analysis
    • Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements; translate business needs into system specifications and workflows.
    • Conduct workflow mapping, gap analysis, and feasibility studies to identify inefficiencies and recommend system enhancements or new solutions.
    • Collaborate with business unit & cross functional team to understand processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities, ensure successful implementation and integration.
    • Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training efforts.
    • Maintain documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot post-implementation issues.
  • Process Optimization & Digital Transformation
    • Lead initiatives to automate manual workflows and digitize core manufacturing processes using Lean, Six Sigma, MES, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
    • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, RPA) to enhance traceability, performance, and decision-making.
    • Design scalable digital frameworks that support real-time visibility, operational agility, and data integrity.
    • Define and monitor KPIs to measure process effectiveness, productivity, and quality. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support investment decisions and process changes.
    • Deliver training and promote a culture of structured problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Manufacturing Ecosystem Development
    • Build and harmonize end-to-end (E2E) manufacturing processes to support scalability, standardization, and productivity.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.
    • Govern change orders (COs), deviations, and process updates to ensure smooth implementation with minimal disruption.
  • Data Analytics & Decision Support
    • Develop structured models and dashboards that convert data into actionable insights and measurable outcomes.
    • Apply a data-driven mindset to strengthen governance, control mechanisms, and strategic decision-making.
    • Leverage analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and manufacturing systems (e.g., EBS, CAMSTAR, APEX) to monitor performance and uncover trends.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems to support predictive and real-time decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in business systems analysis, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process integrity, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to apply a process-centric and data-driven mindset in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing and data systems such as Oracle EBS, APEX, CAMSTAR, SQL, and analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau).

Our product portfolio includes a range of automation solutions, including robots, vacuum systems, and atmospheric robots for semiconductor manufacturing ().**Work Location: REMOTE - Malaysia.***Key Responsibilities:*** Act as a knowledge base and primary point of contact for the IT team, as well as for business users, for the given areas of responsibility.* Facilitate business and systems analysis discussions and translate findings into clearly defined Business Requirements Documents / Functional Design Documents.* Research, design, configure, test, document, and support implementation of system changes. Manage the impact of these changes and their effects across all business segments and locations.* Provide daily support for ERP Production issues within Service Level Agreements (SLA)* Participate in future system implementations across our global business application footprint* Partner closely with peers, System Implementors, Application Managed Services* Participate in IT Audit for internal and external compliance.* Support month end and year end close activities* **Ability to be flexible to work and support the US West Coast time zone needs*** Other duties as assigned.**Requirements & Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of **3 - 5 years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud implementation.*** Expertise in the Oracle OTC module.* Strong hands-on Experience in Fusion Extracts, OTBI Reports, and BI Publisher.* Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.* Manufacturing industry experience (or supporting clients in Semicon/Hi-Tech industries) highly preferred.* Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision and the ability to engage & work with Global teams and remote stakeholders.* Must be able to support global locations across various time zones.* Able to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity, and evolving environment.* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills at all levels within the organization.* Willing to travel (domestic and international) as required for the role.#LI-MV1#LI-Remote**Work Location & Flexibility** At Brooks, we aim to foster a collaborative and engaging environment while offering flexibility where possible.
