Job Description

Purpose Statement

Analyzes, specifies, designs, documents, tests and delivers business systems and Information System process solutions to meet business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creation and updating of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) objects – Workflows, Resources, Product Spec, Task List and etc.
  • Defines and re-engineers manufacturing applications processes by using appropriate methods and tools and partnering with process owners to understand requirements
  • Creates training material and provide training for user assistance and system usage
  • Manages Global Labelling System (GLS) -system upgrade roll out, system configuration, installation and operation support
  • Improve application / system efficiency and makes recommendations for implementation of new systems or necessary upgrades that will best meet customer and organizational requirements
  • Facilitates site implementation of enterprise systems by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations.
  • Work with cross functional team to articulate site requirements, coordinate site testing (user acceptance test, system simulation test) , documentation and planning of system roll out.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for MES-related issues and escalation to global support team when necessary, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and minimizing downtime.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize system data to provide actionable insights

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years working experience in Manufacturing environment with MES implementation and maintenance knowledge
  • Experience with CAMStar will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in business analytics using power BI tool.
  • Knowledge of Excel Macro , DAX , Power Query will be desirable

Skills

  • Good communication, interpersonal and project management skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing process with good analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills
  • Visualization Skills using platform like Power BI

Preferred Qualifications

Purpose Statement

The Business System Analyst, APAC role is responsible in analyzing, conducting feasibilities studies, designing and implementing business systems’ solutions and processes to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Analysis and Design:
    • Gather and understand business requirements from business or process owners
    • Conduct feasibilities studies and solution prototyping with relevant IT partners
    • Define, design and re-engineer business systems solution and processes

    • End to End Solution Implementation:

    • Lead and deliver end-to-end system solutions implementation including design and build review, conduct testing and user training, cutover and go live support

    • Assure quality of system solutions implementation by developing and executing test plan and cases

    • Guide implementation of enterprise and system level architectures and systems by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations
    • Business Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for business process improvements and recommend system solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
    • Drive harmonization across systems and processes
    • Business Continuity Support:

  • SAP issues troubleshooting and fix, work requests and consultation
  • Collaborate with SAP global team to resolve major issues and site outages
  • SAP Access – new SAP user/license setup (new hires, role changes), SAP Training governance
  • Audit support: Reports, transactions, queries, segregation of duties
  • Year End Activities: Analysis and support for clean-up activities
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful system implementations and upgrades
  • May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups
  • Manages system implementation projects by applying basic project management methodology

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience as a SAP Business System Analyst or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in SAP modules such as SAP LE/WM, SD, MM etc. Strong understanding of SAP configuration and customization
  • Experience in managing SAP implementation projects and working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into system solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP (S4HANA) will be advantageous
  • Project management experience with formal accreditation is a plus
  • Ability to navigate a cross matrixed and diverse environment

The role – what is it we would like you to do?

Currie & Brown is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to work as part of the Business Systems team – assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of processes and applications aimed at enabling efficient operation of the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Initially, the role will focus on testing activities for system development and system administrative tasks, such as upgrades.
  • In time, it is expected that the role will include taking ownership of projects as identified by the systems development plan. This will include:
    • Solution design.
    • Data migration, including data load templates and processes.

    • System testing and validation.
    • Change control documentation.
    • Successful handover to support.
  • Assist with development of integrations and automation using the REST and SOAP APIs available within Unit4 ERP.

What skills and attributes are we looking for from you:

  • Computing or finance related degree level qualification.
Essential sector experience required:
  • Have a reasonable knowledge, understanding or experience of:
    • Business systems analysis, management information systems and/or financial systems.
    • Finance and accountancy.
  • Been a key member of a complex, technical project.
  • Demonstrably taken initiative to successfully improve a process, system etc. within their team/organisation. The process or system would ideally have been of a technical nature.

Preferred sector experience required:

  • Strong SQL experience.
  • Experience of using REST/SOAP API's.
  • Experience of an ERP system as a system administrator, support consultant etc.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An organised and logical approach to work and problem solving.

Job Summary

We are looking to hire a D365 Business Systems Analyst to assist with day-to-day functions including GL, AP/AR, Budgeting, Costing, Asset Management, Treasury, Credit & Collections, and Financial reporting. You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining applications within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform.

Responsibilities

  1. Model business data, workflows, and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications within Finance and Accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, Budgeting, Costing, Asset Management, Treasury, Credit & Collections, and Financial reporting.
  2. Model business processes and data related to end-to-end operations such as order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report.
  3. Deliver high-quality solutions to end-users, including design, development, integration, data migration, and documentation.
  4. Coordinate with IT and business teams for strategic solutions and recommendations.
  5. Work closely with the Dynamics 365 team to test and promote solutions across environments.
  6. Validate and implement standard Dynamics 365 functionalities and modules.
  7. Design and implement custom features when necessary.
  8. Create user test cases and scenarios for solution validation.
  9. Ensure security and access permissions follow segregation of duties.
  10. Implement integrations with third-party applications, both on-premise and cloud-based.

Qualifications

  1. At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, support, and administration.
  2. 3-4 years experience specifically with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, supporting accounting functions.
  3. 5-7 years of accounting experience in GL, AP/AR, Budgeting, Costing, Asset Management, Treasury, Credit & Collections, and Financial reporting.
  4. Experience with data migration and integration mappings.
  5. Extensive experience in defining and customizing reports and dashboards.

If you are an IT systems analyst seeking an opportunity for growth, Emerson has an exciting position for you. We are seeking a skilled individual to support our manufacturing and global operations teams. The primary goal of this role is to ensure maximum up-time and functionality of our most critical business solutions and processes. You will support the implementation, development, operation, maintenance, improvement, and growth for completing outstanding operations across our Test & Measurement business unit.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Assess problem trends and recommend process or software fixes

Who You Are:

A successful technical troubleshooter with an investigative approach and logical thinking skills. You're not afraid to read and review code, and able to communicate clearly with others who may actively develop code. You enjoy the process of identifying ownership of issues, and are comfortable running with issues or reassigning when needed. You know the value of good documentation, creating it when it doesn't exist. You are adaptable to new requirements and demands as the role requires.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or similar field preferred or equivalent job-related experiences.
  • 2 years of experience working on Oracle based manufacturing business preferably
  • Proven functional expertise in Oracle EBS ERP R12 system and related technologies with in-depth knowledge of Manufacturing processes and Supply Chain management
  • Available to work global hours when required.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Programmer analyst or software developer working in Oracle customizations
  • Proven functional experience in Oracle EBS ERP application highly preferred
  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL and Workflow, Oracle forms, Oracle REST Data Services APIs with Oracle EBS database, including query and reporting tools
  • English: 90% fluent
