3+ years working as a data engineer, analytics engineer, data warehouse or business intelligence developer or consultant
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, economics, business analytics or similar OR corresponding professional experience
Proficient in SQL, DAX and Power BI incl. semantic modelling
Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines and ETL processes
Proven track record in optimizing analytics workloads and platform performance, incl. optimizing complex SQL queries
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Experience in translating business requirements into actionable reports and dashboards
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to liaise with business as well as technical stakeholders

Your New Role
You will be supporting the Business Data Support Supervisor and your main tasks involve preparing customer profitability management reports. You will perform 1st level of business analysis to measure business performance as well as monitor cost control and profitability. You will prepare and consolidate monthly results including management, flash and forecast at standard cost. Compiling information and preparing budget for dedicated activity as well as involving in yearly budget preparation and quarterly revision is included as well. You will also prepare gap analysis report between actual and estimates in relation with analytic control.
Requirements to Succeed
You should hold a Bachelor Accounting Degree or Professional Degree in related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience. Experience in Maritime industry or financial environment will be an added advantage. Proficiency in computer skills, especially Microsoft Office is necessary. You should have at least intermediate level in Excel, can perform PIVOT, V-Lookup, and various functions & formulas. Experience with SAP or Oracle system will be a plus point. Ideally, you should be independent, a strong team player, proactive, an innovative problem solver with good communication, organizational and analytical skills.

- Perform or ensure data cleansing tasks are completed on time
- Complete data collection for manual/construction objects on time
- Work together with IT counterparts to prepare value mappings
- Create and maintain master lists if applicable for assigned objects
- Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from the legacy system(s) for assigned data objects
- Work together with IT team and country Business Data Owners to identify objects in scope for country
- Ensure data readiness & verify quality throughout data journey for assigned data objects
- Verify that data is fit for purpose (incl. alignment with internal/external stakeholders)
- Approve upload files before and after load for all assigned data objects (including formal approval)
- Perform manual (type-in) data loads into target clients where applicable for assigned objects
- Perform dual maintenance
- Execution and approval of data verification scripts
- Act as SPoC for assigned objects as part of defect management process during Hypercare
- Data Cleansing completion for relevant data objects on project(s) within the region based on given data migration schedule
- Data Loads completion for relevant data objects on project(s) within the region based on given data migration schedule
- All major issues related to data quality for relevant data objects resolved based on given project(s) schedule
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree preferred
- Fluent English (additional languages preferred)
- 5+ years in country & global roles (ERP project implementation experience preferred)
- Good communication and negotiation skills, good stakeholder management
- Strategic and hands on way of working (running meetings, tracking progress, managing issues)
- Strong Excel Skills
- Strong knowledge about the business processes in the area of Manufacturing: Production planning, Supply chain, Plant maintenance
- Data Migration experience preferred
