Responsibilities include:
  • Overall business and brand management of designated brands.
  • Brand/marketing strategy management: responsible for brand building, product positioning, strategic activities, sales performance, sales promotion, and product profitability.
  • Marketing planning: in charge of the annual marketing plan, mid-term plan, and long-term plan.
  • Product/business development and improvement: responsible for new product development, existing product improvements (concept, packaging, design), quality, and cost improvements.
  • Management of brand executives (if any).
Principal functions:
  • Manage overall business and brand strategies.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans.
  • Drive product development and improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and develop brand team members.
Key responsibilities and authorities:
  • Ensure all brand marketing activities align with global/regional strategies and company policies.
  • Define brand positioning to communicate unique value propositions.
  • Build and maintain positive brand perception and customer loyalty.
  • Monitor brand mentions and customer feedback through field visits and market analysis.
  • Manage product profitability by understanding cost structures.
Marketing strategy management:
  • Plan annual KPIs, activities, budgets, and schedules.
  • Manage ROI by understanding customer needs and market trends.
  • Coordinate ATL advertising to enhance brand awareness and perception.
  • Oversee BTL activities, sales promotions, and PR to increase sales and shelf presence.
  • Manage POP/Premium inventory and logistics.
Marketing planning:
  • Prepare annual marketing plans based on market analysis.
  • Set strategic directions for 3-10 year growth plans based on SWOT analysis.
Product/business development and improvement:
  • Lead new product development, including market analysis, concept creation, packaging, and launch planning.
  • Continuously improve existing products based on consumer insights and sales feedback.
Management of brand executives:
  • Develop team through training, reviews, and evaluations.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by superiors as needed.

We are looking for people who

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in brand management, corporate communications, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in managing corporate websites and social media platforms.
  • Experience in monitoring and analyzing brand health metrics (e.g., Brand Health Tracker, NPS)
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management as they pertain to brand communications.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and delivering results.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of branding trends and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an added advantage.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
