We are looking for people who

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in brand management, corporate communications, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in managing corporate websites and social media platforms.
  • Experience in monitoring and analyzing brand health metrics (e.g., Brand Health Tracker, NPS)
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management as they pertain to brand communications.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and delivering results.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of branding trends and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an added advantage.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.

AVP, GBM - Brand Strategy and Management MY

This position is a multi-faceted role that will have suitable candidates involved in mainly brand and sponsorships practices across CIMB's regional network. This includes developing and executing brand positioning campaigns and initiatives, custodianship of the Group's corporate identity standards, identifying and managing sponsorship assets plus managing and liaising with business owners for trademarking of products/services. Key Responsibilities This role requires the ability to juggle a broad scope of tasks and responsibilities, manage 2 or more team members and respond well under pressure and deadlines in a high performance and diverse work environment. Accepted candidates will be expected to: End-to-End Brand Campaign Management: Develop and execute integrated brand campaigns that align with CIMB Bank’s strategic goals and enhance brand equity. Oversee campaign implementation, ensuring timely delivery of all creative assets and alignment with brand guidelines. Track and measure the effectiveness of brand campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Serve as the primary point of contact between CIMB Bank and external creative and media agencies. Lead briefing sessions, ensuring that agencies understand campaign objectives, brand guidelines, and timelines. Ensure smooth communication and alignment between internal teams and agencies throughout the campaign lifecycle. Manage relationships with brand ambassadors, influencers, and partners, ensuring that their collaborations consistently reflect CIMB Bank’s brand values and objectives. Identify and leverage opportunities to optimize the brand ambassador and partner collaborations to maximize value for the brand. Develop and execute partnership strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition. Brand Strategy Development & Execution: Contribute to the development of CIMB Bank's long-term brand strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends. Continuously evaluate and refine brand positioning and messaging to maintain relevance and differentiation in the competitive landscape. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Communications, Product, and Sales) to ensure seamless brand integration across all touchpoints. Monitoring & Reporting : o Monitor brand performance, including customer perception and brand health metrics, to assess the impact of campaigns and initiatives. o Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting campaign results, key learnings, and opportunities for brand growth. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment of brand strategy with broader business objectives. Ensure that all brand-related communication and materials are consistent, accurate, and aligned with CIMB Bank’s values. Other Responsibilities: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform brand strategy and decision-making. Manage ad-hoc brand-related projects and initiatives as needed. Supervise and guide junior team members, where necessary. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in the relevant discipline (Marketing/Media/Mass Comm/Advertising/Brand Management/etc.) Minimum 10 years experience in relevant marketing, brand or strategy roles in established organisations. Experience in financial institutions, FMCG, media/advertising agencies, is a plus point. Marketing Product Manager , you will lead the development and execution of large-scale promotional marketing initiatives, tailored to different industries and supported by platforms like Alipay. Collaborating closely with industry operations teams, you’ll play a critical role in driving impactful campaigns and optimizing marketing tools from concept to execution. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing strategies, a passion for innovation, and the ability to deliver practical solutions with measurable impact. Key Responsibilities: Figure out what the industry operation teams need for their big promotional strategies and make it happen. Help the operation teams get their campaigns up and running smoothly while working out smart marketing product solutions. Cook up and spread around innovative marketing strategies and tools that get more users to hop on board and stay active. Keep an eye on what's hot in the market, bring together resources from all over, grow our ability to market with pinpoint accuracy, and back up innovative business strategies Requirements: Good communication skills that work across different cultures and teams. A talent for envisioning products and analyzing data; you'll measure value, sum things up, plan ahead, and keep making marketing products better. Strong ownership; you should be able to dig deep to find what's needed, get different departments working together, and make sure ideas turn into reality. A bachelor's degree or higher, with 2-3 years of experience working on product solutions for industry marketing and a track record of supporting large-scale marketing events. Bonus points if you've got experience with big C-end promotion marketing or have worked on marketing platform products from scratch to scale-up. Disclaimer:
