How You'll Make an Impact

  • To deliver safe, legal and good quality Lotus’s own brand food products, which are sourced from suppliers with food safety standards and ethical labor standards.
  • To ensure products and suppliers meeting legal requirement, all company policy and procedures.
  • To manage suppliers’ performance and standard in accordance with business strategic direction and business due diligence process.
  • Being the guardians of own brand integrity and reputation, the subject matter expertise in dedicated product category.
  • To organize and prepare sensory session with internal team during product development, gather feedback and work closely with suppliers to get the right product quality, right taste profile.
  • Analyze, recommend, and communicate product quality performance and supplier performance to related parties effectively.
  • Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances and crisis management, ensuring corrective and sustainable preventive action in placed at suppliers’ sites.
  • Review and approve technical information on own brand product packaging as well as product shelf life.
  • Establish and approve accurate specification with own brand suppliers.
  • Manage the surveillance and lab testing of own brand products.
  • Drive innovation and improvement in product quality, deliver New Product Development plan.
  • Submit monthly KPI on timely manner and ensure all technical data in trackers are up-to date, accurate.

What You'll Bring to the Job

  • Degree or equivalent in a food science/technology or related Science discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing, experience in quality assurance / quality control in canned food, poultry, beverage industries is preferred.
  • Candidates with GMP/HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO22000 and / or Ethics (SA8000) Trained is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, communicate effectively, attention to details with analytical mind set.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • High energy, positive attitude, proactive and possess commercial acumen.
  • Willing to travel extensively.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform baking trials on yeast products and ingredients from Lesaffre's range. Ensure that tests are performed in a timely manner in accordance with corporate procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting on ongoing baking projects.
  • Collaborate with laboratory and formulators to support the development of new yeasts and ingredient solutions. Involve in the optimization of their implementation (dosing, presentation).

· Bachelor in Food Science/ Food Engineering/ Chemical Engineering with 2-3 years of food industry experience

· Prior customer experience and working with technical information (i.e., food formulations, food processing specifications, pilot plant procedures, etc.)

· Excellent English communication skills; ability to present to large or senior audiences

· Good sensory skills

· Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (e.g: PPT, Excel formulation)

· Knowledge of common food applications/ processes, food ingredient functionality and ingredient interactions

· Ability to travel within South East Asia

As a

Food Technologist,

you will develop solutions across all food application areas (Beverage, Bakery, Dairy, Savory, etc) supporting our Texture and Healthful Solutions Strategy. Activities will include-preparing prototypes for customer meetings, ongoing customer support, bench top analysis. You will work closely with Sales and Applications teams to promote functional, value-added ingredients and solutions to meet customer needs.

What you will do: · Supporting implementation of marketing campaigns and new product launch · Supporting assigned accounts and leading customer projects with these accounts · Understanding the strategy of customers and how it translates into their technical needs. Identifying how customers can improve and expand their product offerings using Ingredion’s technical solutions. Applying this knowledge to build value for customers · Providing technical support to customers for a broad range of food applications. Applying product and application knowledge to identify customer solutions. Executing well-defined experiments and procedures to prepare food and beverage prototypes · Conducting pilot and production scale trials at customers’ facilities · Utilizing project management skills to deliver projects on time and prioritize work according to shifting customer needs · Ensure development of high-quality prototypes for customers and events presentations from concept to finished product. · Develop well supported recommendations on formulations; suggest next steps based on analytical evaluations. · Conduct sensory tests to help identify best solution or direction for research projects. · Prepare Application Sheets with nutritional information for prototypes sent to customers. Your main responsibilities will be to: Perform baking trials on yeast products and ingredients from Lesaffre's range. Ensure that tests are performed in a timely manner in accordance with corporate procedures. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting on ongoing baking projects. Collaborate with laboratory and formulators to support the development of new yeasts and ingredient solutions. Involve in the optimization of their implementation (dosing, presentation). Set up baking test protocols/methodologies. Improve recipes and processes if necessary. Assist in new product development and improve existing products. R&D / Application & Recipes Executive (Food Technologist/Application Specialist)

We’re seeking a creative and technical food expert to develop exciting formulations across confectionery, ready-to-eat (RTE), meats , and oil & fats categories—from lab to pilot kitchen to full-scale production.

End-to-End Impact: Own the journey from concept (lab) to commercialization, ensuring quality, cost, and safety targets are met.
Growth & Learning: Work with industry experts, benchmark global trends, and master HACCP, GMP, and FSSC 22000 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead formulation and process development for new products and improvements.
  • Translate customer briefs and market trends into delicious, innovative recipes and prototypes.
  • Research trends and benchmark competitor products to create unique, market-leading products .
  • Run trials in our central kitchen , fine-tuning processes from lab to production.
  • Document recipes, equipment settings, process parameters , and yield calculations .
  • Troubleshoot issues during trials and production scale-up.
4. Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all recipes meet QMS , HACCP requirements.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs teams for compliance with local labeling and export standards .
  • Conduct shelf-life tests, microbial tests and sensory evaluations .
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Procurement, New Business Development , and Production teams.
  • Provide technical training and recipe transfer to production or co-manufacturers when needed.
6. Cost & Process Optimization
  • Seek cost-saving opportunities (better yields, less waste) without sacrificing quality.
  • Implement Good Lab Practices (5S, Kaizen) to boost efficiency.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Who We’re Looking For:
  • Degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Food Engineering (or related field) + 2+ years in food manufacturing / central kitchen / R&D .
  • Hands-on experience in confectionery, RTE, meats, or oils (priority given to these skills!).
  • Strong knowledge of lab-to-production scale-up.
  • Food safety expertise: HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000/ISO 22000 knowledge is a big plus .
  • Creative problem-solver who thrives under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.

Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
