What You Will Be Responsible For

Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS), focusing on reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency. Build and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective Data Lake architecture using services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Lake Formation, and Athena. Administer large-scale database platforms (RDS, Redshift, EMR, DynamoDB) and perform backup/recovery, tuning, and upgrades. Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Design and operate ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data into the data lake. Ensure data quality, security, access control, and compliance for all lake-stored data. Ensure data platforms are highly available, backed up, and meet disaster recovery requirements. Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for infrastructure, pipelines and data workloads. Participate in on-call rotation for cloud operations and database issue escalation. Work cross-functionally with data engineers, developers, and product teams to meet analytical and operational data needs. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and best practices are followed for data protection and cloud resource access.

How You Will Stand Out

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Over 5 years of experience in cloud operations, with a focus on AWS. In-depth knowledge of AWS services including S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift, Athena, EMR, IAM, and CloudWatch. Solid hands-on experience with designing and managing Data Lake and big data analytics platforms. Strong experience in managing relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB). Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go. Familiar with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, etc. Experienced in setting up monitoring and cost optimization for AWS-based infrastructure. Understanding of security, encryption, data governance, and compliance best practices for public cloud data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional. AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or Database – Specialty. Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, dbt) is a plus. Kubernetes or containerization certification is preferred.

As a Data Center Project Coordinator, you will be a part of a creative, diverse team tasked with solving fascinating problems constructing Amazon Data Centers. Our data centers are industry examples of energy efficient, cost-effective designs. You will work alongside partner teams such as Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build Data Centers that directly support our Customers.
As our Data Center Project Coordinator, you will support the teams that build some of the most interesting electrical and mechanical systems in the world. You will be on the construction site daily interacting with the construction managers and stakeholders and be directly responsible for supporting the fast, high-quality delivery of our data center construction. The Data Center Project Coordinator will be part of the Construction Management team and will own the communication coordination with our vendors, information workflow, and coordination of document management including requests for information (RFI), change orders, monthly progress report, incident report, quality report, and schedule updates.

Key job responsibilities
Assist the team in the production of monthly project reporting deliverables including:
- Project Delivery plans
- monthly status reports
- financial updates
- schedule updates
- safety incident reports and updates
Assist the team with document control tasks, including:
- Monitoring and actioning RFI's (requests for information),
- Assisting with producing and tracking change orders across projects
- Compiling and storing construction data from vendors
- Updating Project Management software with milestone dates, correspondence, and documents.
- Assist in the tracking of project status for activity priorities and due dates.
Assist with the development and maintenance of Amazon safety, environmental and quality standards for assigned sites
- Set up and maintain project management and document management system
- Preparation of agendas and minutes
- Onboarding new vendors for badging and orientation as required

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in engineer, or project / construction management
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Experience working with IT tools such as MS Office Suite including Project, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience working in the construction industry or an engineering organization.
- Experience updating and managing data including milestone dates, RFI's, design changes, and change orders in project management software such as Procore.
- Experience with developing workflows and tracking systems including change management, vendor equipment delivery, and document controls across 3 or more organizations/teams.

Deploy observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, etc ) for system health monitoring. Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable provisioning. Provide technical guidance and support across our internal team. Collaborate with cross-functional business unit teams to ensure the process aligns with organization standard. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in relevant field. At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an SRE, Wintel Engineer or in a similar role. Expert in scripting languages like Powershell, Python, Bash or other similar languages. Experience in Wintel platforms, On Premise is a plus. Strong understanding knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP, IP, Routing) & AWS core services such as EC2, Load Balancer, VPC, SSM, CloudWatch etc. Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS Lambda etc is a plus. Certifications with AWS, security or other infrastructure are advantageous. Shift rotation is required with extra compensation.
