What does the role involve?

You will be a part of our architecture team with a focus on AWS cloud, implementing our cloud strategy, understanding business requirements and identifying areas where cloud solutions can address problems. Also, you are setting governance and oversight standards for other technology departments. With excellent command of Event Driven Architecture & Microservices, in depth understanding of database technologies you will navigate through complexities such as multi-cloud networks and hybrid networks.

What you need is:

• At least bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or any other related fields.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in AWS architecture required.
• You delivered successful transformation and innovation projects, in large scale organization
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, profound knowledge of networking concepts and how they apply to cloud environments
• Experience in designing cost optimized, complex event driven asynchronous solutions, using event bridge, even bus pipes, sqs, sns, lambda, etc
• Experience with designing applications using different type of databases (sql, nosql)
• Experience in AWS SDK like Java, Python, or C#
• Comprehensive expertise in cloud Security such as IAM (Identity and Access Management), AWS data protection mechanisms, secure internet protocols, data encryption methods
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high availability and performance of AWS infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Design, Architect & Implementauto-scaling, load balancing, and failover strategies in AWS environments.
• Automate repetitive tasks, workflows, and deployments using scripting or various technologies (e.g.,PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible, etc ).
• Deployobservability tools (e.g.,Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, etc ) for system health monitoring.
• Manageinfrastructure as code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable provisioning.
• Provide technical guidance and support across our internal team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business unit teams to ensure the process aligns with organization standard.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in relevant field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an SRE, Wintel Engineer or in a similar role.
• Expert in scripting languages like Powershell, Python, Bash or other similar languages.
• Experience in Wintel platforms, On Premise is a plus.
• Strong understanding knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP, IP, Routing) & AWS core services such as EC2, Load Balancer, VPC, SSM, CloudWatch etc.
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS Lambda etc is a plus.
• Certifications with AWS, security or other infrastructure are advantageous.
• Shift rotation is required with extra compensation.
• Ability to speak & converse in both English & Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Purpose Statement:

The Cloud Architect has global responsibility for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure solutions. The Cloud Architect will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to review cloud-based solutions and create strategies that align with business objectives. Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with different integration platforms including AWS, Mulesoft Anypoint platform, and Confluent Kafka.
• Experience in integrating systems based on MACH architecture.
• Knowledge of system integration methods and technologies, such as Web services, APIs (SOAP, REST, GraphQL, BFF).
• Experience integrating various applications, whether on-premise, cloud-based, or multi-cloud systems.
• Define, improve, and strategize integration patterns and approaches.
• Lead partner development teams on integration approaches and tools.
• Assess different integration approaches, evaluating their benefits and limitations.
• Monitor integration platforms and assist in incident management.
