The position aims to play a crucial role in driving sales growth and ensuring effective sales operations within the organization by supporting and collaborating with other departments to achieve sales targets, maintain strong customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Business Development

Participate in development of business, sales planning, and growth strategies and develop Sales Proposal with sales pipeline to meet budget. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers by attending networking activities, conducting marketing activities, customer meetings, proposal development, and customer presentations to deliver outstanding customer value. Maintain awareness of competitor information and participate in industry associations in accordance with company policy. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management) to develop proposals and present solutions that meet client needs. Ensure business sustainability via balancing of sales, profitability, and collection. Relationship Management & Account Management

Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the industrial automation industry. Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs/issues and ensure their satisfaction with solutions provided. Regularly engage with clients to assess their requirements and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities. Manage and coordinate with key vendors and partners to gain competitive advantage through creation and development of customers in selected vertical markets. Sales Support

Collaborate and work closely with Application Engineers to ensure smooth project development & implementation, which may include risk assessment and provision of technical solutions to meet customers’ needs. Manage the sales process to ensure customer requirements are properly qualified prior to investment of resources. Requirements

Diploma/degree in Engineering discipline (Mechatronics/Electrical). Knowledgeable in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Achievements & Experience

At least 3 years’ experience in Sales function. Strong knowledge of automation solutions and their applications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in distribution sales or a related field is a plus. Knowledge of the industry and market trends.

Job Purpose:

Realization of the given sales plans within the defined sales region and development of the sales region to maximize the targets of P+F and customer satisfaction with regard to quality.

Responsible for understanding, promoting and designing product/system solutions using the range of P+F technologies and 3rd party products if required.

Involved in development, marketing and promotion of customized product/system solutions along with relevant P+F personnel.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Generate new sales lead, developing new customers and accounts for sales territories in northern region
  • Maintain good relationships and build up new value with existing customers and accounts
  • Follow up with customer enquiries, and quotations
  • Provide training and application support for Factory Automation Products to customer
  • Provide technical and commercial presentations as required for customer
  • Take responsibility for customer opportunities and consult to identify and propose solutions
  • Updating and maintaining the company CRM system with respect to accounts, contact details, visit reports, appointments and opportunity management
  • Work closely with internal Customer Support on order fulfillment and processing
  • Work alongside marketing colleagues to help deliver seminars and exhibitions as required
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and assists management in developing counter-competitive strategies
  • Mentor and guide team members when required

Role Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years working experience and minimum 3 years in a similar role
  • Experience using or selling industrial sensor products would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of PLC Programming is an advantage
  • Business fluent or native-language English (written and spoken) + one of the following languages business fluent or native-language: Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work in a team as well as individually
  • Must be able to travel frequently

As we want to continue growing, we hope to find, as soon as possible, for the following position in our subsidiary in Singapore: Sales Engineer, Factory Automation (Penang) Job Purpose: Realization of the given sales plans within the defined sales region and development of the sales region to maximize the targets of P+F and customer satisfaction with regard to quality. Responsible for understanding, promoting and designing product/system solutions using the range of P+F technologies and 3rd party products if required. Involved in development, marketing and promotion of customized product/system solutions along with relevant P+F personnel. Major Accountabilities: Generate new sales lead, developing new customers and accounts for sales territories in northern region Maintain good relationships and build up new value with existing customers and accounts Follow up with customer enquiries, and quotations Provide training and application support for Factory Automation Products to customer Provide technical and commercial presentations as required for customer Take responsibility for customer opportunities and consult to identify and propose solutions Updating and maintaining the company CRM system with respect to accounts, contact details, visit reports, appointments and opportunity management Work closely with internal Customer Support on order fulfillment and processing Work alongside marketing colleagues to help deliver seminars and exhibitions as required Monitor competitors’ activities and assists management in developing counter-competitive strategies Mentor and guide team members when required Role Requirements: Diploma or Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering or similar Minimum 6 to 8 years working experience and minimum 3 years in a similar role Experience using or selling industrial sensor products would be an advantage Knowledge of PLC Programming is an advantage Business fluent or native-language English (written and spoken) + one of the following languages business fluent or native-language: Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese Excellent communication and negotiation skills Able to work in a team as well as individually Must be able to travel frequently Then we would like to meet you. Job Purpose:

  • Application/Solution sales of industry devices like Sensors, Relays/Switches, Control Components, AI Vision systems and IoT Automation Controllers / ( + robotic experience ).
  • Working knowledge of industrial communication networks is preferable.
  • Marketing and sales program execution with distributors.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential customers.
  • Establishes new accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organising sales visits and conducting product feature demonstration activities.
  • Regular sales reports and updates in the CRM system
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer requests.
  • Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of products.
  • Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.
  • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending internal product training and educational workshops if related.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Possesses a Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • 1 to 3 years of related industry sales experience. This is an entry level opportunity.
  • Organized team player, able to work independently
  • Disciplined and helpful to others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Software – Word, Excel, Power point
