**Job Description**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
The role managing the IT Automation team focusing on SDSM IT automation systems, including equipment integration, real-time dispatching, fault detection, and other aspects, typically involves the following responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the entire IT automation function within the SDSM facility, ensuring seamless integration of automation systems and equipment to enable efficient factory operations.
2. Managing enhancement requests and projects related to factory automation, from initial planning through execution to final delivery.
3. Coordinating and assigning resources to each project to ensure timely completion that aligns with business needs.

+ Identify and document projects milestones and deliverables and keep project always plans up to date, including resource allocations, tracking hours, monitoring schedules, milestones, deliverables, updating percentage completion, etc.
+ Provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, resolve conflict, initiate resolution and deliver results.
**Qualifications**
**REQUIRED:**
+ Possess strong passion and knowledge in technical and engineering troubleshooting skill.
+ Experience in fundamental software and system architecture design and passion in disruptive automation development and approaches.
+ Capable to work independently with A&A development engineering team and cross functional department for new automation and analytics development projects.
+ Passion in engineering development activities to uncover root cause, derive long solutions inclusive designs and managing new Automation and Analytics Projects with Automation hardware team.
**PREFERRED:**
+ Understand fundamental programming architecture to enable creation of drill up and drill down of technical projects management inclusive auto-progress tracking and management capability.
+ Exposure or hands on experienced in high volume manufacturing automation software development and programming.
+ Possess strong analytical, technical troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and understand problems and conceptualize solutions.
+ Understand machine learning, data mining, quantitative analysis, artificial intelligence and predictive modeling is a plus.
+ Ability to communicate with different hierarchy levels from diverse geographical area and culture.
+ Strategically focused, impact oriented, highly organized and adaptable.
+ Fluent in English and local Asian language, both spoken and written.
**SKILLS:**
+ Degree in computer science, Mechanical, EE or mechatronics Engineering, or another quantitative discipline
+ Good mind mapping and proficient in MS Excel, MS Project and Powerpoint presentation.
+ He/She has fundamental programming knowledge (C++/C#, Python, Java, visual studio) to aids project management efficiency and technology development activities.
