Ansell is looking for a Specialist, Quality Assurance to join our team in Cyberjaya!

In this position you will play a vital role in carrying out QA activities supporting organizational goals, responsible for onsite/virtual product inspections, supplier audits, product evaluation, and analysis

What your role will be?

  • Perform onsite/virtual product inspections and audits of Ansell's Manufacturing Partners
  • Conduct testing of finished products for conformance to specifications
  • Analyze test results, prepare trending charts, and make recommendations
  • Identify and correct product quality and manufacturing process issues
  • Perform supplier quality system audits per ISO standards
  • Assist in product evaluation and qualification for new products
  • Coordinate supplier change requests and implement change control
  • Review Certificates of Analysis (COA) and report OOS results
  • Perform other QA tasks as assigned

What will you bring to Ansell?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent college (in chemistry/polymer science) preferred
  • High School accepted with sufficient QA, RA, and QMS management
  • 3-5 years experience in manufacturing with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, MDSAP)//Medical Device QARA (EN MDR, PPE regulation)//Glove manufacturing/Glove R&D preferred
  • The position requires frequent travel to multiple manufacturing locations throughout Malaysia, with occasional travel to Indonesia, China, Thailand, Vietnam & Sri Lanka.

Job Description:

  • Responsible in planning and managing the QA Team.
  • Plan and supervise the QA/QC team on daily inspection at Incoming Quality Control, Process Quality Control and Final Quality Control.
  • Accomplishes quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures to meet the companys Quality Objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Act, other related Acts, regulations, and standards, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance of all ISO standards of the Company including but not limited to, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP.
  • Conduct internal audits, supplier audits and any other audit activities as defined in the QMS.
  • Participate in customer audits and follow up on corrective or preventive actions.
  • Responsible for the inspection and handling of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products and disposition of defective and reject products.
  • Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, and compliance audits.
  • Review, develop and maintain a systematic approach for SOPs, records and product specifications to enhance quality efficiency and performance at plant.
  • Trains and motivates employees to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Cooperate with different departments to improve business operations.
  • Assists in the recruiting process.
  • Perform other related job duties and projects assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is added advantage
  • Candidate must possess at least Certificate in Diploma /Advance/ Higher, bachelors degree in chemistry/ food science/ food technology or equivalent
  • At least 5 years proven working experience in similar capacity in manufacturing sector preferably in food industry.
  • Knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP and Halal Standards.
  • Good leadership, strong interpersonal skill, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to express ideas clearly, both oral and written
  • Required Skill(s): Computer Literate, Microsoft word, excel, power point etc.

Job Summary

This role supports the QA Manager in leading and enhancing the QA team’s transaction monitoring performance, ensuring U Mobile’s Contact Centre delivers high-quality customer service through effective call quality evaluations, timely feedback, and targeted coaching.

The Day-To-Day Activities

  • Contribute to a seamless customer journey by collecting, analyzing, and sharing customer feedback and insights received from the Quality Specialists for the Contact Centre support units. Assist in developing and implementing QA skills and enhancement programs for existing staff.
  • Drive the quality, output, and performance of QA Executives through consistent audits, evaluations, and feedback.
  • Ensure all QA progress logs and records are updated and maintained.
  • Participate in QA calibration sessions to ensure consistent scoring methodology among team members and operational counterparts.
  • Participate in quality improvement exercises, campaigns, and programs.

About You

  • At minimum, a degree or diploma in any subject.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Relevant experience in Quality Assurance is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 1–2 years in a team lead, supervisory, or mentoring role.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Contact Centre Operations or Backend Support.

This role is required to operate with a strong commercial focus ensuring alignment to the Bank’s business objectives while adhering to the Bank’s control principles at all times.

This team is part of Compliance Operations. The LDQA team focuses on continuous training, skill enhancement, and quality assurance to ensure the smooth execution of Compliance programs.

About the Opportunity

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for ensuring high-quality compliance case reviews and maintaining performance standards across all Compliance Ops functions. The successful candidate will monitor and evaluate compliance cases processed by Compliance Ops agents and provide feedback to improve agent performance.

Requirements: What We Look For In You
  1. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role (experience in the FinTech / Crypto / Financial Institutions industry is an advantage).
  2. CAMS or ICA certification is a plus.
  3. Able to work on-site.
  4. Strong analytical skills to analyze data and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Highly motivated and detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  7. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  8. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards, such as AML, CDD, and Sanctions.
  9. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities: What You’ll be Doing
  1. Conduct QA reviews to assess agent performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback and coaching.
  2. Perform root cause analysis by reviewing quality monitoring data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for training and process enhancements.
  3. Initiate calibration sessions within the Compliance Ops functions to align on QA standards and address quality-related matters.
  4. Collaborate with the Learning & Development (LD) team to establish processes, define quality standards, ensure consistency, and refine training programs.
  5. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including QA scorecards and departmental SOPs.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related matters.
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in compliance and QA.
  8. Participate in the development and implementation of QA initiatives and projects.

LDQA team focuses on continuous training, skill enhancement, and quality assurance to ensure the smooth execution of Compliance programs. We collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Customer Due Diligence Ops, AML Ops, and Sanctions Ops, as well as other partners such as Compliance Advisory, the Product team, and the Data team.

  • Oversee and address all risk-related matters across securities, futures, and OTC products.
  • Develop, review, and update internal risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Monitor daily margin requirements and manage excess limits; prepare and issue margin calls and enforcement notices to clients.
  • Design and enhance risk models to improve the accuracy and efficiency of risk assessment across various financial products.
  • Conduct portfolio analysis and stress testing in collaboration with senior management.
  • Monitor portfolios for market and issuer-related risk events to detect emerging collateral risks at an early stage.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, dealing, finance, and compliance teams, to address risk issues and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices to proactively strengthen the firm’s risk management framework.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Investment, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience inrisk management, finance, or investment-related fields .
  • Prior experience in risk reviews or risk-based audits is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, CFDs, Forex, or cryptocurrency trading.
  • Familiarity with MT4, MT5, cTrader, or other trading platforms (preferred).
  • Knowledge or experience in equity or futures trading is preferred.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to support Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including market open/close times.
