Job Responsibilities
- Familiar with project development procedures, understanding design principles, maintaining strict control over construction practices, adhering to quality standards, and ensuring compliance with local construction laws and regulations.
- Oversee the quality, timeline, and costs of construction projects in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Achieve project quality management objectives as per the contract, monitor project completion and acceptance, and establish construction schedules and quality assurance systems.
Construction Management:
- Responsible for conducting pre-construction surveys regarding water, electricity, internet connections, and land leveling conditions. Review project drawings and oversee the foundation, structure, completion acceptance, and warranty management.
- Collaborate with the construction team to develop the general construction work program based on the contract and the company's overall plan.
- Review the project's construction organization design and methods, and ensure civil, construction, and architectural work progresses according to the work schedule.
- Strictly supervise the quality of civil, construction, and architectural work. Participate in inspections and acceptance of completed work, concealed acceptance, on-site inspections of construction materials and equipment, and take full responsibility for work quality.
- Rigorously monitor and control construction project costs, participate in the review and confirmation of economic visas on-site, and ensure that cost control goals are met.
- Involved in civil, construction, and architecture contract management on-site. Assist in resolving disputes, claims, and other contract-related issues during execution. Participate in bidding processes and formulate the technical sections of bidding documents. Review technical data and provide evaluation opinions. Coordinate the inspection of materials and determine brand specifications for materials provided by the construction team.
- Manage the exchange, transmission, and processing of information among on-site construction teams, supervisors, and civil engineering teams.
- Address design and construction issues in the project and manage relationships related to civil, construction, and architectural work on-site.
- Coordinate the general and subcontracted work, oversee daily on-site management of civil, construction, and architectural tasks, and maintain the construction log.
- Attend weekly construction coordination meetings, review meeting minutes and monthly reports, supervise the adherence to supervision rules, and ensure synchronization of internal engineering data.
- Oversee project defect resolution and coordination from project handover to property until the defect liability period expires.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering or related fields, and an engineer title or higher in the construction industry.
- Over 10 years of experience in civil engineering construction and management.
- Proficiency in civil construction management and engineering structure knowledge, with the ability to interpret various engineering construction drawings.
- Strong organizational skills for on-site construction, along with excellent communication, coordination, and management abilities.
- A strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to teamwork.

Job Summary
Directs day to day activities and operations of a large team of Construction/Operation Project Managers. Mentors junior team members and makes strong tactical decisions to resolve project issues. Manages Construction project costs, methods, and project team selection.
Responsibilities
Project Management
Leads and manages medium, sometimes regional construction programs. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for project-related matters and ensure that Equinix’s interests are represented throughout the project lifecycle
Provides guidance and project leadership including ground up construction, remodels, renovations, etc., ensuring projects are meeting or exceeding company expectations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables specific to data center construction
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation tailored to Equinix’s operational and technical requirements
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges unique to the projects
Ensure that all construction activities comply with Equinix's standards, relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices specific to data centers
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, focusing on critical systems
Address any quality issues or non-compliance promptly and effectively.
Identify potential risks associated with data center construction, including technology integration, environmental factors, and operational continuity
Develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets
Monitor project risks throughout the lifecycle and adjust plans as necessary
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones, coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure that work is completed according to the set project timeline, resolve scheduling conflicts and delays proactively
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports
Prepare and present regular project status reports to Equinix's leadership and stakeholders
Ensure that all project documentation is organized and accessible for future reference
Vendor Relations
Directs up to 20 external vendors per project comprising General Contractors, A&E design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc.
Serve as the main point of contact between all project stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies
Facilitate communication and collaboration among all parties to ensure alignment with project goals and Equinix’s strategic objectives
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress
Supports maintenance of high value relationships
Training Programs
Contributes to identifying and developing training programs
Engages in cross-functional training
Contract Administration
Conducts appropriate contract administration procedures including generation, review, and monitoring of prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents and documentation
Leadership
Mentors junior team members as needed
Directs internal and external project team members including internal Design, Procurement, Operations, and IT/Network support teams
Policy & Procedure Development
Contributes to creating and maintaining best in class policies and procedures
Qualifications
12+ years experience in project and construction management preferred, with at least 5 years specifically focused on data center projects
Proven track record of managing large-scale data center construction projects from inception to completion
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations, particularly those relevant to data centers (e.g., electrical systems, cooling technologies, fire safety)
Familiarity with data center design principles, including Tier classifications, redundancy, and scalability
The role may require frequent site visits, which may involve exposure to construction environments
Occasional travel may be required, depending on project locations

Position Title: Manager, Construction (Project) - 2 Years Contract
1. JOB PURPOSE
To be responsible for leading, managing, and executing the construction phase of solar power projects from site preparation to commissioning. This role ensures that the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards, while coordinating effectively with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREA
1) Project Planning & Coordination
- Lead the on-site execution of solar plant construction activities, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Develop, monitor, and control construction schedules to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Oversee installation of solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, electrical wiring, and related infrastructure.
2) Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure construction works meet project specifications, technical drawings, and applicable regulations.
- Enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies at the construction site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to safety protocols
3) Budget & Cost Management
- Monitor construction costs against budget, ensuring cost efficiency and preventing overruns.
- Review and approve contractors’ claims, variations, and progress payments.
4) Stakeholder & Contractor Management
- Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for project stakeholders, including clients, authorities, and utility companies.
- Facilitate site progress meetings and provide accurate updates on project status.
- Identify and assess construction risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve technical and operational issues on-site in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Oversee pre-commissioning checks and support commissioning activities to ensure operational readiness of the solar plant.
- Ensure handover documentation, as-built drawings, and project close-out reports are complete.
3. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCES.
Formal Education
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CIDB, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Skills / Knowledge/ Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of construction management experience, with at least 3–5 years in solar PV or renewable energy projects.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale solar plant projects from start to completion.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV technology, installation processes, and grid interconnection requirements.

JOB PURPOSE To be responsible for leading, managing, and executing the construction phase of solar power projects from site preparation to commissioning. This role ensures that the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards, while coordinating effectively with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. 2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREA 1)
Project Planning & Coordination Lead the on-site execution of solar plant construction activities, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works. Develop, monitor, and control construction schedules to meet project milestones and deadlines. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Oversee installation of solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, electrical wiring, and related infrastructure. 2)
Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure construction works meet project specifications, technical drawings, and applicable regulations. Enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies at the construction site. Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to safety protocols 3)
Budget & Cost Management Monitor construction costs against budget, ensuring cost efficiency and preventing overruns. Review and approve contractors’ claims, variations, and progress payments. 4)
Stakeholder & Contractor Management Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. Serve as the primary on-site contact for project stakeholders, including clients, authorities, and utility companies. Facilitate site progress meetings and provide accurate updates on project status. Identify and assess construction risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve technical and operational issues on-site in a timely and cost-effective manner Oversee pre-commissioning checks and support commissioning activities to ensure operational readiness of the solar plant. Ensure handover documentation, as-built drawings, and project close-out reports are complete. 3. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCES. Formal Education Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CIDB, or equivalent) are an advantage. Skills / Knowledge/ Qualifications Minimum 8–10 years of construction management experience, with at least 3–5 years in solar PV or renewable energy projects. Proven track record in delivering large-scale solar plant projects from start to completion. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). In-depth knowledge of solar PV technology, installation processes, and grid interconnection requirements. We’re hiring a strategic, hands-on operations leader to oversee the full delivery lifecycle of specialist construction and concrete works across multiple divisions. You’ll manage manpower, equipment, costing, and site delivery, ensuring every project is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the MD, ideal for someone ready to shape systems, mentor teams, and scale field performance.
Plan and control manpower, site activities, and equipment across multiple ongoing projects
Drive productivity, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency across all job sites
Lead site supervisors, engineers, and crews, owning team performance and development
Oversee job costing, VO claims, cash flow forecasts, and project profitability
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations (HIRARC, ISO, CIDB, etc.)
Manage vendor, subcontractor, and consumables sourcing for cost-effectiveness
Centralise reporting and project documentation using structured digital systems
Act as the on-site technical face of the company, solving issues, winning client trust
Lead execution of new services, trial methods, and R&D expansion scopes
8+ years in multi-site operations management (construction, specialist works, or M&E)
Strong costing, scheduling, logistics, and team leadership experience
Familiar with ISO, CIDB, DOSH and regulatory compliance requirements
Proven ability to lead supervisors and crews across different scopes
Fluent in BM and English; Mandarin/Cantonese an added advantage

We are partnering with a listed construction company to hire a seasoned Project Director / Senior Leadership professional . The successful candidate will lead and oversee key engineering projects, manage Singapore-based resources, and enhance corporate public relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project strategies, including risk assessment, resource allocation, and contingency planning.

Job Requirements:

- Over 10 years of experience in Singapore’s construction industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success managing projects valued at SGD 5M or more.
- Well-versed in BCA Green Mark Certification standards and BIM workflows.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication capabilities.

Job Description:
- Assist Project Manager to manage and monitor of all assigned projects from design planning to project execution stage with the required standard and within time-cost budget
- Oversee the projects execution processes with meeting the project objectives/goals
- Lead the project development team for effective implementation and successful completion of all assigned projects include overseeing the co-ordination, budgeting, scheduling, quality control and progress of the projects
- Liaison with the relevant authorities, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth implementation and quality of the projects
- Conduct sites inspection on regular basis to review progress and project performance according to schedule
- Ensure regular progress meetings are organised with consultants, main contractor, sub-contractor and suppliers to review the progress of the projects and keep the management team fully informed of issues and progress
- Manage changes and escalate timely in anticipation of any potential project issues that could impact projects and schedule
Requirements:
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications within the building construction; Civil, Structural, Architectural, Interior Design, Project Management or other related fields
- Minimum 1 year of project management experience with interior fit-out or building construction projects
- Knowledgeable in managing all aspects of development life cycle
- Possess strong planning, organizing, co-ordination, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills• Proven track record of delivering the various of interior fit-out or building construction projects
- Strong management skills in dealing with external parties such as consultants, contractors and suppliers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
- Good leadership in building construction effective project teams, motivating others, delegating and time / quality decision making
