Qualifications & experience

• At least Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
• Two (2) years working experience in architectural works in advantage but fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in cad-drafting software, BIM software and/or other drafting tools, SketchUp and/or other design software
• Good knowledge in Building By-laws and planning requirement.
• Good command of both English and Malay.
• Capable of working under tight deadlines and maintain consistent quality

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist the Architect to prepare 2D design drawings, schedule and documentation for the conceptual design and design developments.
• Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and other provided information.
• Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT (Fresh graduate or Entry level)

Location:
Sufian Engineering Consultant Sdn Bhd, Seksyen 13, Shah Alam, Selangor

Scope of work:

• Involved in architectural design works

• Coordinating projects from concept, documentation and all submissions to local authorities.

• Planning and to prepare architectural design and computerized drawing

• Drawings according to required standards, codes and admin submission.

• Council and authority applications and follow up.

• Design meetings and construction site visits.

• Construction drawings

• Building permit documentation.

• Liaising with consultants, councils and authorities for applications and permits.

Skills & requirement;

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

• Knowledge in completing construction documentation and tender documentation.

• Willingness to work overtime as required.

• Detail-oriented and highly analytical.

• In-depth understanding of CAD and AutoCAD software.

• Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence.

• Assisting with the preparation of architectural drawings, models, and presentations
• Conducting research, site visits, and analysis to support the design process
• Collaborating with the design team to develop and refine architectural concepts
• Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Researching and sourcing materials and products for use in building projects
• Providing support to the team throughout the various stages of the design and construction process

What we're looking for

• A degree in Architecture, LAM Part I or II.
• Relevant experience in an architectural or design-related role

We are looking for a motivated Architectural Assistant (Part I) to support our design team in delivering innovative and high-quality architectural solutions. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Job Scope:

• Assist in conceptual and schematic design development.
• Prepare presentation materials, drawings, Photoshop and 3D models.
• Draft architectural plans using AutoCAD & Revit (would be an advantage)
• Conduct basic site measurements and documentation.
• Support project submissions to local authorities and assist in compiling reports.
