Job Description

The Cybersecurity Application Consultant will help improve the success of cybersecurity business in Southeast Asia. You will engage with domain experts, sales, specialty sellers and customers presale to lead delivery engagements and better understand scope requirements. This resource is the proposal team's subject matter expert for the customer, sales organization, and Team and leads engagement requirements of Cybersecurity and comprehensive delivery offerings from RA, partners, and competitors in Cyber and Network expertise areas.

You will be a Cybersecurity technical resource for Rockwell Automation technology, products, services, and solutions within their area(s) of expertise, Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects capability, defining scope and benefits of portfolio to customers. They manage commercial offer, presales support, and is a trusted advisor to the sales organization and channel. They are responsible for technical support in pre-sales activities and support bid offer activities for Cybersecurity and Network within SEA.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead scope definition, design and recommend Network, virtualization and Cybersecurity infrastructure and associated configuration changes.

• Design customer secure manufacturing architectures and provide vision, problem anticipation, and to customers.

• Work with Sales, Consultants and Specialists to assess and respond to IT/OT, engineering, consulting, project and support services opportunities

• Understand the customers need and be able to position and quote a desired outcome for a solution

• Management of the process from Bid Request, Information gathering, Scope definition, Solution design and costing, and Approvals – Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consultants, Sales Specialists, Engineering, Services, and your peer proposal teams regional/global.

• Demonstrate the ability to expand the scope of solutions requested by incorporating the full portfolio of Rockwell Automation offerings, including: Connected Services, Process/Power & Control/Information Solutions, Packaged Power, and local Field Labor.

• Make full use of Global estimating tools and Global Engineering Center Proposal resources

• Advise Consultants and Sales on proposal generation, validation, and presentations for executive level customers

• Share insights with peers.

• Understand business models, organization, and go to market strategy, leverage

• Knowledge of industry strategies, familiarity with outcome-based selling.

• Manage specialized, with confidence and competence

• Requires above Experience creating detailed demos that are tailored to customers' pain points, concern for the exact correctness of work, and commitment to tasks completed

• Take work seriously and is disciplined

• Somewhat faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position

• Detailed, specialized work is the major focus

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent.

• Experience in designing and deploying network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls) within an Industrial Network

• Familiarity with a variety of networking and security concepts and practices, to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, network protocols, communication optimization, application effects on system performance and human exploitation techniques on the manufacturing network.

• Understanding of multiple industry standards including ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NERC, IDC, NEC and NIST standards. Specific focus on NIST 800-82, NERC-CIP, IEC-62443 Standards would be an added benefit

• Referrable having Recognized Network Certification (CCNA Industrial, CCNA / CCNP / CCIE Routing and Switching/Wireless, VCA, VCP, Cisco INS, GICSP, CISSP)

• 8+ years pre-sales, direct sales or consulting experience as an estimator, proposal engineer or other contract, project or application engineering-focused position

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Demonstrated understanding of Network, virtualization and Cybersecurity infrastructure.

• Good application and industry knowledge

• Work in a with both internal and external customers

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computing, IT, or related field. 5+ years of experience in HRMS/ERP implementation. Strong SQL and Microsoft technologies knowledge. Experience in full-cycle web application development. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred

Programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript. Familiarity with cloud-based HRMS solutions.

• Certified SAP Professional and experience in a consulting environment is a plus
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts—formal accounting experience or accreditation a plus
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus

Must have at least 5-7 years of SAP FI/CO configuration with functional experience in an enterprise-grade, multi-subsidiary, multi-country environment with >100 users Certified SAP Professional and experience in a consulting environment is a plus Strong understanding of accounting concepts—formal accounting experience or accreditation a plus Experience in the retail industry is a plus Knowledge of EDI/ IDOC is a plus Should know SAP Functional modules i.e. SD, MM. Must have excellent communication (English) and presentation skills as well as the ability to handle questions from users

What will you do?

• Work with project leads, developers and operations on a live commercial project that has more than one million users on its platform and impacts population health.
• Software support and maintenance of deployed products and solutions
• Work closely with project management and experience design team to deliver project outcomes
  
  

Requirements

• Strong hand-on experience in C#, .Net Technologies
• Solid hand-on experience with ReactJS
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and SQL
• Experience with React Native, Microsoft SharePoint is a plus
• Proficient knowledge of languages such as Java and/or NodeJS, AngularJS will be a plus
• Ability to manage a hosting environment, including database administration as well as scaling applications to handle load changes
• Experienced in developing on Unix/Linux environments
• Effective communication skills & customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work with a multiple team and stakeholders
• Enjoy constant learning and working with new technologies
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience in public sector projects is a plus

Job Description:

Business Application Consultant serves as a key contact for users experiencing technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution to enhance user satisfaction. This role involves logging incidents, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving application, system, and configuration issues. Depending on the complexity of the problem, unresolved cases may be escalated to higher support levels for advanced intervention.

This dynamic role offers opportunities to develop IT skills, gain hands-on experience, and advance professionally in a fast-paced environment, with potential career growth into senior or leadership positions.

Incident Management:

• Respond to incoming support requests via QUS and ensure accurate logging of incidents.
• Categorize incidents based on priority and impact, ensuring proper tracking and updates.
• Monitor tickets and maintain timely communication with users throughout the resolution process.
• Provide initial diagnosis and resolve common product issues or escalate more complex cases to L3 support.

Troubleshooting and Escalation:

• Perform advanced troubleshooting for software applications, hosting environments, and configurations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address unresolved or recurring issues, escalating cases as needed.
• Develop and utilize bespoke tools, scripts, and diagnostic utilities to enhance efficiency.
• Suggest and document workarounds or interim fixes for application defects.

Knowledge Management and User Education:

• Utilize and expand the knowledge base by documenting new issues, solutions, FAQs, and best practices.
• Educate users on basic application functionalities, system processes, and self-service resources.
• Assist in maintaining and refining SOPs for escalation, troubleshooting, and resolution workflows.

Application Support:

• Provide end-to-end support for Quantios applications, including conducting assessments.
• Set up, upgrade, and document processes for application deployment.
• Monitor applications proactively to identify and address potential issues before escalation.
• Deliver on-site and off-site support as required.

Collaboration and Feedback:

• Share insights from client interactions and industry trends with development teams to improve product offerings.
• Provide feedback on recurring issues to improve processes and system performance.
• Collaborate with the Academy team to maintain a knowledge base and assist with training L1 teams and end users.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting:

• Research and adopt new technologies, methodologies, and standards to enhance support services.
• Analyze helpdesk metrics, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
• Test and validate fixes, updates, and new features before deployment to ensure quality.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Financial Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of business application software (e.g., ERP, CRM systems).
• Familiarity with core fintech products and industry standards (preferred) .
• Basic understanding of ITIL concepts, including incident logging and escalation procedures (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as AL Programming , VB.NET, C#, SQL, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, AngularJS, Angular TypeScript, HTML5.
• Data analysis and visualization skills (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  
• Ability to use ticketing systems, diagnostic utilities, and basic troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledgeable about AI processes and usage
  
• Experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
  
• Capability to follow structured troubleshooting processes and escalate complex problems to appropriate teams.
• Awareness of financial regulations (e.g., DSS, KYC) and how they apply to fintech products.
• Ability to handle multiple tickets or tasks simultaneously while adhering to SLA timelines.
• Strong prioritization skills to manage workload efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with users, clients, and internal teams.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with team members and escalate issues when necessary.
• Familiarity with industry trends, fintech products, and emerging technologies.
• Proactive in learning and adopting new technologies, methodologies, and standards to enhance service delivery.
• This role might require working on shift rotation basis. Subject to business needs.
