Summary
The Senior Specialist, Integration Analyst (API) plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical implementation for API-based integration solutions, primarily built on SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). This role is critical in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of API requirements - from demand analysis and stakeholder engagement to functional specification and delivery support - ensuring alignment with business objectives and integration strategy. As part of a global integration team, the role requires strong business acumen, a solid technical foundation in API and SAP CPI integrations, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development inputs. The role supports solution delivery, innovation exploration, and the ongoing enhancement of integration capabilities across the enterprise.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities Business Analysis & Solution Design
  • Engage with business stakeholders globally to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional API specifications.
  • Collaborate with API developers to ensure business requirements are accurately implemented into technical solutions using SAP CPI and related technologies.
  • Facilitate workshops to define integration needs, validate designs, and align expectations.
  • Drive the solution exploration phase by identifying integration opportunities and feasible API designs.
  • Maintain clear and traceable documentation for requirements, process flows, user stories, and test cases. Technical Alignment & Integration Knowledge
  • Develop a deep understanding of SAP CPI, integration architecture, and data flow models.
  • Act as the subject matter liaison between business users and technical development teams.
  • Support review of technical specifications, payload structures (e.g. JSON/XML), API documentation (e.g. Swagger/OpenAPI), and interface mappings.
  • Assist in functional testing, UAT coordination, and production readiness validation for APIs and integrations.
  • Use tools such as Postman, SAP CPI monitoring, and API gateways for testing and validation.


Governance, Quality & Lifecycle Management
  • Ensure API requirements are aligned with enterprise standards, reusability principles, and governance guidelines.
  • Contribute to backlog grooming and solution planning cycles to ensure delivery readiness.
  • Coordinate Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilot rollouts when introducing new integration patterns or APIs.
  • Document and maintain integration usage guidelines, support handover, and knowledge base content.

The Opportunity: We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity, working as our API & Integration Senior Developer within the Asia Pacific region. Within the role you’ll build and unit/integration testing of APIs and integration. You will have a chance to be part of new project that will build a new end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform to enable new distribution models. Insurance offerings on this platform will be specifically designed for high levels of automation and straight through processing across the full insurance value chain. Key Responsibilities: Build a deep understanding of business requirements and best ways to build integrations / APIs. Design of domain centric APIs Build and testing of integrations Build of external facing APIs using REST/JSOM Documentation of APIs using Swagger Integration trouble shooting & defect analysis CI/CD processes (eg configuration management, daily automated build, unit testing etc). Interfacing with other teams for technical details related to integration between systems (both internal & external) Your skills and experience: 5+ years programming experience. Experience with Java using Springboot. Experience with Spring Cloud. Experience integrating with AWS Components eg: S3,SQS, etc. Strong experience with API development using REST/JSON, Swagger & Postman Experience with SOAP, JavaScript programming, design patterns Experience with JIRA, Sonarqube Knowledge of object-oriented modelling Sound understanding of IT project delivery and agile / DevOps methodologies Skills: Problem solving skills Experience with integration design patters Passion for new and emerging technologies. Ability to investigate these in depth.

Job Description

The Software Engineer will work as a part of the application services team and closely with Keypath’s product management and enterprise architecture teams to support and implement high-quality application and software solutions.

This role is key in driving efficiencies for Keypath’s operational teams and optimizing the student experience.

The software engineer will provide development, integration, and maintenance of software applications in a Microsoft-centric environment.

This role is pivotal in supporting and customizing core systems, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality custom software solutions that align with the strategic goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete development tasks related to assigned projects involving the customization, integration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other core systems.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software, customizations, and integrations.
  • Provide hands on development and technical expertise across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements hand-off to deployment and support.
  • Collaborate with Keypath’s product management team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Keypath’s enterprise architecture team to ensure adherence to architectural standards and security best practices.
  • Develop solutions using modern Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies, including Azure Functions, SQL Databases, Queues, and Log Analytics
  • Implement standard security structures and engineering best practices in Azure, including use of Key Vaults, Managed Identity, secure network endpoints, and role-based access controls.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper technical and privacy/security governance requirements are met.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, computer engineering, IT, a related field of study, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of software development experience with a proven history of launching successful custom development solutions.
  • Strong background in architecture, design, and hands-on coding and configuration using Microsoft technologies, including Azure, SQL, .NET framework and C#.
  • Experience developing solutions using third-party Software Development Kits and cloud-based APIs.
  • Experience developing solutions and integrating with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred.
  • Experience in the higher education and post-secondary education sector preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC using Agile Methodologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft-centric development and skilled working with Microsoft SDLC management tools and technologies including Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git
  • Knowledge of design patterns and development experience with .NET framework, Microsoft Azure, and related tools
  • Skilled in hands-on coding and configuration using Microsoft technologies, including Azure, SQL, .NET framework and C#.
  • Solid database development experience with SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
  • Must exhibit fluency in software development concepts including Software Design Patterns, Caching, Concurrency, Security, and Relational Databases.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining high security and architectural standards.
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of learning new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Architecture, Dynamics CRM API, and Entity Model preferred.
