The Manager of the Analyst team will support the Senior Manager in overseeing two core pillars: Optimization Analysis and Data Analysis. This role will manage and guide the team to drive strategic planning, data-driven decision-making and operational excellence, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic and Operational Insights

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights for long-term planning and decision-making.
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for operational and financial improvements.
  • Oversee market and expansion analysis to identify optimal locations for growth and store consolidation opportunities.
  • Support the creation of performance reporting, troubleshooting underperforming stores, and developing actionable insights.
  • Ensure the development of BI dashboards and automation tools for improved reporting efficiency.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with head of departments, and senior leadership teams to align analytical outputs with business priorities.
  • Support project and change management efforts to ensure the timely and effective delivery of optimization initiatives.
  • Champion the implementation of innovative practices and frameworks across international markets.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts through regular feedback and shared insights.
  • Foster a culture of shared learning, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics or related field.
  • Has at least 6 years of experience in data analysis, operational optimization, or business analytics.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills in both written and presentation.
  • Knowledge of optimization frameworks, project management methodologies, and strategic planning techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, and visualization tools like Power BI/ Tableau/ Google Looker Studio.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pricing information & Purchasing Information records are the backbone of procurement, and the data are used by the entire Dyson organization. The role is an opportunity is to embark on an exciting and impactful journey to drive transformation and contribute to costs & value chain optimization. In this role, you will lead all operational & strategic activities, process & systems enhancements related to purchasing & pricing data foundation.

Key Accountabilities

Support operational & strategic billing & pricing cycle activities.

Troubleshoot and identify root cause of pricing data issue and get it resolved with relevant teams: Procurement, Finance, Logistics, etc.

Develop and implement strategies to recover costs associated with pricing gaps, such as overpayments or incorrect charges. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding pricing discrepancies and cost recovery efforts.

Drive & lead enhancement projects to billing & pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.Support future development & evolution of the Purchasing Information Records system.

Constantly identify and implement, opportunities to upgrade pricing data records and simplify processes & operations.

Contribute to the Master Data Management initiative by ensuring the consistency, completeness, and correctness of Purchasing Information Records across all systems.

Leverage Purchasing Information Records to create data intelligence and develop analytics tools that can be used to add value to the top and bottom line.

Displays strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to translate insights into impactful initiatives within Procurement Operations Excellence.

Develop a data-driven culture in procurement by educating procurement colleagues and other stakeholders on master data management.

About you

University degree or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Supply chain or other related field.

Previous Experience/exposure to Finance, Data Analytics or Supply Chain activities

High level of business and financial acumen

Willingness to transform, challenge the status quo and resilience in execution

Excellent project management from strategic thinking to operational execution

Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging environment

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and resolve intricate issues

3 - 5 years in an analytics capacity with experience with Business Intelligence Solutions.

Proficiency in using relevant systems like ERP, procurement platforms, and database management tools.

Strong Communication and Influence skills.

Strong financial & analytical skills

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analytics Manager (IWS Business Management).

The Investment Wealth & Solutions Business Management provides support and services to business stakeholders and clients on project-based requests and assignments. The job holder should be precise, detailed oriented and be able to establish a strong working relationship with IWS internal business stakeholders and clients to ensure the projects and assignments are managed with highest standards of accuracy and efficiency, as per instructions within agreed business SLA (Service Level Agreement).

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for producing regular management reports and analytics to support effective decision-making and provide insights into business performance to management and various stakeholders.
  • Support the management team to develop Financial Resource Plan (FRP).
  • Monitor the company’s business performance and cost utilization against the FRP, provide regular updates and identify areas for improvement.
  • Overview the capital adequancy for the company’s operation.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for management’s decision making and performance management.
  • Work closely with Sales Management Office (SMO) on Performance Framework for frontline staff, including KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and performance objectives setting, sanity check on SMO’s justifications and inputs.
  • Facilitate strategic projects and initiatives by collaboration with internal and external counterparts, from a data analytics point of view.
  • Provide support on HCBS optimization project.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline preferably with a recognised professional accounting qualification preferred.
  • 3+ years relevant working experience in the financial sectors with exposure to business and customer analytics, management reporting, strategy, and planning.
  • Ability to speak and understand Cantonese/Mandarin/English fluently, where applicable country specific language fluency required in reading Mandarin / Cantonese and written is a MUST.
  • Knowledge of investment products and broking business.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in common analytics and project management tools e.g., advanced user in MS Excel with VBA knowledge, MS PowerPoint, MS Access.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills with both stakeholders and senior management.
  • Commitment to continuous development, both personally and in others, to add value for the organization and for overall career development.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and pragmatic with ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Drive, teamwork, and positive cooperation towards the achievement of team/department goals.

1. Responsible for developing market segmentation models, analyzing the characteristics, size, and trends of each segmented market, and providing data support for market strategies.

Qualifications

1. Demonstrated experience in market research or business development across diverse sectors beyond the telecommunications industry (including property management, hotels, subways, sports venues, airports, etc.). Proven ability to leverage successful case studies to drive market expansion and provide strategic guidance to sales teams for replication and scaling of effective business models.

2. Strong sense of responsibility and ability to undertake pressure. Adaptable to multicultural team environments.

3. Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese and local languages is a plus.

4. Proficiency in utilizing mainstream market insights and evaluation methods, such as $APPEALS, 4Ps, PESTEL, SPAN, SWOT, and STP.

What is your mission?
  • Responsible for managing the reporting applications, functional and technical development, projects and support activities
  • Act as business liaison, cultivating strong relationships, relying on experience to develop strategic roadmap and bring value added solutions to emerging requirements within time and budget parameters
  • Lead the directive in analysis, design, modeling, testing and implementation activities by providing guidance and recommendations for process enhancements and efficiencies for all reporting
  • Provide operational support for day to day processing and focal point for questions related to reporting systems and integration points
  • Understands business service requests and translates them into clear and actionable reporting directives
  • Conduct Periodic Evaluation of Performance of your Team Members – assess competencies, celebrate wins, train/re-train and provide corrective actions whenever applicable
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time, within your category of employment in the organization and for the effective implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System of TDCX.
Who are we looking for?
  • Candidate must possess at least a Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any field.
  • Preferable with 3 - 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Experience in conceptualizing, designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting agile data analytics platforms to support analytical initiatives of internal or external stakeholders
  • Experience in analyzing different types of data to support business needs and present the results in concise visualization formats
  • Ability to work as a team player. You should be able to work under pressure and tight timeline, result orientated, strong problem solving and good analytical skills.
  • Adaptable to various stakeholders, business models and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of supporting market

Job Purpose:

The Business Intelligence Team uses data to analyse market and business trends for to increase Carsome Group’s profits and efficiency. The Business Intelligence Analyst maintains the data warehouse and reporting platforms of the company ensuring consistency and quality of data, working with the business to develop new and innovative reporting capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain data warehouse and data marts.
  • Translate requirements from the business into delivered reporting capabilities.
  • Build complex queries to match specific business requirements.
  • Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution.
  • Ensure the best possible performance and data quality.
  • Utilise techniques to perform ad hoc analysis of data.
  • Maintain and update business intelligence tools.
  • Provide technical support for existing dashboard and reporting/ visualization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information System Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience participating in data warehousing and business intelligence projects.
  • Good working experience of Microsoft BI tools, Tableau, QlikView, Pentaho BI and MicroStrategy.
  • Experience in any ETL tools: Pentaho, DataStage, SSIS, Informatica.
  • Writes advanced SQL including some query tuning.
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Great communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in YellowFin and Microsoft Technologies.
  • Familiarity of technologies like Redshift, Google Could Computing.
  • Solid experience working for a multinational organisation where English is the primary business language and ideally based abroad.
