The Incident response manager role will be working in the Cyber Response Services (CRS) Team within our Risk Consulting practice, reporting directly into the head of cyber response. This is a hands-on and operational management role with opportunities to grow into service line leadership. He should have good hands-on experience in enterprise Network & Security. The successful candidate is expected to manage a broad range of cyber-security incidents as well as perform digital forensics (disk, volatile memory, network packets, logfiles) and help advance KPMG’s incident response processes and methodologies. In this role we are looking for a person who can demonstrate strong technical background, significant experience in Network & Security, Incident Response and Digital Forensics and is looking to grow into an Incident Response leadership role as part of a growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and co-ordinate cyber security incidents for our clients, working closely with the Head of Cyber Response.
- Digital forensics of relevant incident data (disk, volatile memory, network packets, log files).
- Maintaining a current view of the cyber threat and being able to advise clients on the threat landscape and attacks which may be relevant to them
- Have good understanding on BNM RMiT guidelines in relation with Cyber Response and Recovery
- Manage the development of KPMGs in house cyber-response tools.
- Assess client incident response capability maturity.
- Develop and establish SOC policy, process and procedure documentation based on ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST/MITRE etc and followed by the team
- Establish SOC playbooks based on new threats
- Lead Internal and external Audit to meet the SOC compliance
- Hands-on knowledge configuration, responsible for integration of logs in SIEM
- Knowledge of NextGen SOC, Threat Hunting and behavioral analysis tools
- Experience and knowledge with Cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc
- Help stand-up or improve clients’ own incident response & Network Security capabilities.
- Prepare proposal documents indulging proposal, pricing sheet, solution presentation against RFPs/RFIs.
- In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and project management skills.
- Strong IT and network skills – knowledge of common enterprise technologies – Windows and
- Windows Active Directory, Linux, Cisco, etc.
- Working programming skill-set to be able to author and develop tools. Most in-house security tools in KPMG are written in Python, but we accept that a competent programmer will be able to transfer skillsets across languages.
- Technical proficiency in at least one of these areas: network security/traffic/log analysis; Linux and/or Mac/Unix operating system forensics; memory forensics; static and dynamic malware analysis / reverse engineering; advanced mobile device forensics; threat hunting; threat intelligence.
- Advanced experience in industry computer forensic tools such as X-Ways, EnCase, FTK, Internet
- Evidence Finder (IEF) / AXIOM, and/or Cellebrite
- Advanced experience in preservation of digital evidence (including experience preserving cloud data and handling encryption such as BitLocker, FileVault, and/or LUKS)
- Experience with and understanding of enterprise Windows security controls
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Minimum qualifications required: B.E/B. Tech or Equivalent
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and project management skills. Abilities: Good soft skills and team player
- (Preferred) General information security certificates such CISSP, CISM or CISA.
- (Preferred) Incident management certifications such as:
- CREST certified incident manager (CCIM).
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- (Preferred) Digital forensics certificates such as:

Strategic Growth & Business Development
In collaboration with Keypath senior leaders, co-develop go-to-market (GTM) strategy and lead GTM execution for a portfolio of online degrees with premium Australian universities.

Partnership & Relationship Management

Represent our university partners at industry events and high-profile delegations to enhance visibility of the online education portfolios.
Provide targeted advice to Keypath senior leaders on strategic stakeholder opportunities, including presenting to university leadership committees.
Marketing & Event Coordination
Lead the execution of the events-led GTM strategy to drive high-impact awareness and student enrolments.
Deliver premium in-market activity, ensuring all events and activations are of the highest quality for our world-class university partners.
In collaboration with Keypath marketing leaders, champion attention to detail and brand adherence on every touch point in the student journey from event promotion to new student enrolment, to the articulation experience.
Act as the key contact for regional marketing and events agencies procured to support on execution.
Performance & Reporting
Deeply understanding Keypath business strategy, including OKRs, and levers to maximise desired outcomes.
Contribute to business forecasts, maintain and review relevant regional P&Ls.
Meet and exceed targets across the marketing funnel, including B2B lead targets, enrolment targets and revenue targets.
Performance obsession with regular insights-led advisory to senior leadership, and adjust strategy as needed.
Compliance & Risk
Ensure compliance with university policies and the regulatory requirements of each regional market.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field, a Master’s degree is preferred.

Key responsibilities will include the following:
Strategic Growth & Business Development
- In collaboration with Keypath senior leaders, co-develop go-to-market (GTM) strategy and lead GTM execution for a portfolio of online degrees with premium Australian universities.
- Drive revenue through new market opportunities and strategic partnerships, including B2B channels such as international education agencies, employer channels, government bodies, or similar.
Partnership & Relationship Management
- Form strong partnerships with SEA universities and the international teams of Australian universities, championing the collaborative relationship with Keypath.
- Build and maintain relationships with education agencies, government bodies, corporate sponsors, and industry partners to unlock new opportunities for growth.
- Act as the main contact for regional relationships, managing marketing, events, and sales agencies as needed.
Stakeholder & Government Engagement
- Engage with government agencies and Australian diplomatic missions to promote awareness and adoption of online education portfolios, in collaboration with university partners.
- Represent our university partners at industry events and high-profile delegations to increase visibility.
- Advise Keypath senior leaders on strategic stakeholder opportunities, including presentations to university leadership committees.
Marketing & Event Coordination
- Lead the execution of event-led GTM strategies to boost awareness and student enrolments.
- Ensure high-quality in-market activities for our university partners.
- Collaborate with marketing leaders to maintain brand consistency across all student touchpoints, from event promotion to enrolment and articulation experiences.
- Manage regional marketing and events agencies supporting these initiatives.
Performance & Reporting
- Align with Keypath’s business strategy and OKRs to maximize outcomes.
- Contribute to business forecasts and manage regional P&L statements.
- Achieve targets across marketing funnel metrics, including lead generation, enrolments, and revenue.
- Provide insights and strategic advice to senior leadership, adjusting strategies as needed.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to university policies and regional regulatory requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Experience: 10-15 years in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, especially with complex products.
Market Knowledge: Proven success in developing go-to-market strategies and B2B partnerships in Southeast Asia.
Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, forecast revenues, and oversee regional P&L.
Stakeholder Engagement: Experience engaging with government bodies, corporate partners, and recruitment agencies.
Communication Skills: Excellent English verbal and written skills, capable of representing the organization at high levels.
