The Account Manager / Senior Account Manager is experienced in integrated communications, digital and social. He/She will be responsible for managing clients, coordinating internal resources and leading agency to meet clients’ marketing and advertising needs. He/She is responsibility for agency outputs, provides perspective and leadership in the developing the highest quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Integrated Campaign Management

  • Develops clearly focused creative strategies and creative briefs
  • Delivers value adding performance throughout the project
  • Collaborative teamwork between Creative, Media and Planning
  • Prepares and participates in client presentations
  • Provides input for creative strategies/briefs
  • Organizes day-to-day smooth operation of project
  • Ensures and facilitates effective communication flow throughout project
  • Manages production quality, timeline and budget expenses

Client Partnerships and Collaborations

  • Liaises and maintains regular contact between client
  • Understands clients’ products, services and advertising requirements
  • Discuss campaign details with clients and Agency members
  • Demonstrates ability to interact with clients
  • Organizes and participates in client presentations
  • Organically grow the business

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of integrated / digital experience in the advertising industry
  • Self-motivated, persistent, hardworking, committed, creative, organizer, team player
  • Hold a Polytechnic Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
  • Knowledge in digital marketing, advertising and marketing communication
  • Knowledge in web analytics, data driven marketing and content marketing will be a plus
  • Excellent listening comprehension and strong presentation skills a must
  • Effective communication (verbal and written); Good command of the English language

Job Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and maintaining the relationship with the existing customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Acquiring new accounts & generating a healthy funnel in line with the targets
  • Forecasting and achieving monthly business targets by offering bundled IT solutions to enterprise customers
  • Managing account relationships, effective account mapping
  • Understanding of the assigned account's organizational structure and decision-making hierarchy
  • Ability to make executive pitches and presentations
  • Strategic account planning skills with execution capabilities
  • Ability to understand/interpret client's key requirements
  • Generating Business from the assigned account/area for the products assigned.

About You

  • Experience in IT Industry
  • Account management experience / Direct Sales in Microsoft, Oracle, VMWare, Citrix and Trend Micro products or related areas in Cloud
  • Experience in solution & consultative sales of IT Infrastructure Solutions
  • Excellent understanding of various software products and their licensing policies
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 2 Years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • The role, responsibilities, and geographical focus will change and develop over time along with the company’s rapid growth.

  • Manage existing customers and develop new customer relationships
  • Manage existing and establish new product and market opportunities driving business growth and market share

  • Utilising call planning, pipeline management, lead identification and qualification, undertake proactive sales calling and performance monitoring to drive sales and achieve set targets
  • Raise customer awareness by assisting in determining the right products for the customer’s needs as well as raising customer awareness of product options/ opportunities
  • Undertake joint visits with Managers and Principals as required
  • Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to determine the best solution for the customer and extracting maximum value (e.g., Sales Team, Product Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain)
  • Submit accurate forecasts and forecast updates as requested on a timely basis, managing effective pricing strategies to include, but not limited to: Contracts, Pricing Agreements, Renewals, negotiations, and implementations
  • Prepare and calculate accurate costings for materials
  • Prepare and offer quotations to customers
  • Prepare CRM reports relating to customers in the format and timing specified by Managers (reporting includes regular call reports and special reports as requested by management at a Principals’ request)
  • Maintain, create, monitor, and update customer opportunities and potentials in CRM
  • Review reports and action as required to ensure customers receive the correct quantity of product, at the right time and in the right location to meet budgeted, contracted, and forecast requirements
  • Report on any information relevant to the liquidity of a customer to identify and limit any possible exposure to Brenntag of any debts
  • Seek prompt payment of debtors and address problem accounts when necessary
  • In conjunction with Commercial/Business/Product Managers, conduct market studies on potential new product opportunities by contacting customers to gather interest and test market demand
  • Drive commercial and functional excellence based on guidance/ input from Commercial Excellence Team
  • Increase product knowledge by undertaking regular reviews of product data to understand the technical merits of the products handled by Brenntag as well as participating in product knowledge initiatives
  • Report on market and competitor information e.g., pricing, key customer strategies, trends, key personnel movements, and new product opportunities etc.
  • Ensure all business activities are conducted according to the corporate guidelines

Job Requirements:

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy and develop all key relationships to ensure strong foundation for solution selling. Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges. Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value added services. Requires experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment. Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry.
  • Must be able to prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation and improve customer service. Ability to lead regular QBRs with major customers that unlock additional sales opportunities.
  • Experience creating demand for Arrow products and services. Ability to work with engineers and designers to specify, select and resolve electronic board designs with Arrow franchised suppliers.
  • Must be able to promote and sell the value add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered by Arrow. Requires proficiency in sales tracking systems, SalesForce.com, Oracle Establish and build relationships with key suppliers.
  • This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow.

What We Are Looking For

  • Possess Diploma or Degree in Business Administration/Management, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or other relevant field.
  • Possess at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in account management and NBO within electronics industry.
  • Good understanding of electronics distribution and the supply chain processes.
  • Ability to build good relationships with suppliers and customers, with good communication and persuasion skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Experience in using sales tracking systems (SalesForce.com, Oracle, ERP) is an added advantage.
  • Positive, keen to learn and to take up challenges attitude.
  • Candidates with memory product experience will have an advantage.
  • Regional scope covers China and Thailand market, mandarin-speaking capability is required .

Job Description

1.1 Internal Meeting and Preparing Collaterals

Following the acquisition of a new client, the Business Development Manager/Executive will conduct an internal meeting to discuss campaign details. They will break down the client’s brief and work with team members to determine roles and responsibilities.

The roles of the Account Manager at this stage include:

  • Preparing the Minutes of Meeting (MoM) document within 24 working hours of the internal meeting and distributing it to all involved team members.
  • Tracking preparations needed before the Client Onboarding Meeting based on the MoM.
  • Ensuring MoM tasks and deliverables are completed within 72 working hours of the internal meeting.
  • Bringing all necessary materials for presentation during the onboarding meeting.

1.2 Onboarding Meeting

An onboarding meeting with the client occurs before campaign launch, covering:

  • Recap of client’s brief and objectives.
  • Presentation of materials discussed during the internal meeting.
  • Introduction of relevant team members.
  • The Account Manager must prepare the MoM within 24 working hours of this meeting.

Preparation of the Scope of Work (SoW) document, outlining campaign objectives, deliverables, and timelines, must be completed within 48 hours of the onboarding meeting and sent for client signature before campaign execution.

  • The Account Manager follows up with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met, aiming to prepare all campaign collateral within 2 weeks of the onboarding meeting.
  • If necessary, a follow-up onboarding meeting may be scheduled to clarify details or changes.

1.3 Client Campaign Launch

  • Confirm that the client has signed the SoW and made payment before launching.
  • Set the campaign launch date and obtain client acknowledgment.
  • Ensure preparations are completed within 24 hours after payment and finalization of campaign materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to execute the launch.
  • Notify the client via email upon launch and confirm acknowledgment.
  • Work with the team to implement changes based on client feedback, aiming for a 24-hour turnaround.

Campaign Management & Monitoring

Post-launch, the Account Manager monitors the campaign to ensure deliverables are met and performance exceeds expectations. Regular checks include:

2.1 Online Branding and Lead Generation

  • Daily verification of digital advertising and featured listings.
  • Updating website content and links per client requests, informing clients of changes via email.
  • Monitoring lead generation and sharing leads with clients weekly or as needed.
  • Providing monthly performance reports to clients.

2.2 Content Marketing

  • Managing content production and distribution, ensuring deadlines are met with minimal delays.
  • Promoting content effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Reminding clients to provide materials and utilizing content marketing services as scheduled.
  • Delivering monthly performance reports.

2.3 Digital Marketing

  • Monitoring daily budget utilization to prevent overspending.
  • Tracking lead quality, quantity, and sources for improvement.
  • Sending weekly status updates on leads and requesting client feedback.
  • Providing monthly digital marketing performance reports.
  • Contract Renewal: Tracking contract periods, sending reminders for unutilized deliverables, and maintaining up-to-date client profiles.
  • Upselling Opportunities: Identifying and presenting upsell opportunities during monthly meetings, with KPIs assigned for each client.
