Job Description- Ensure all daily functions will be completed within the guidelines set forth by Expeditors internal Operational Process Standards.
- Assist others in their duties with all Air Export accounts.
- Able to provide customers with status on shipments by using ETMS, EXPO and destination CFIT systems.
- Audit documents for export compliance information and obtain missing information from customer.
- Generate and maintain an active channel of communication between customers and vendors.
- Able to setup file for processing including validating credit, obtaining complete documents, and working with destination on necessary approvals.
- Assist Air Export Agents and Airline Specialists with the gathering and pouching of documents
- Must understand destination specific documentation requirements.
- Gathers required documents and secures them (pouches) as per expectations.
- Able to file EEI, process HAWB, and invoice accurately.
- Needs to be able to read client specific operating procedures and successfully execute upon them.
- Assist Air Export Agents with providing updates and alerts to clients regarding their shipments.
- Fully proficient with various software applications (i.e. MS Office, Lotus Notes).
- Typing - 30 wpm and 10-key by touch.
- Able to identify opportunities for improvement, suggest such opportunity to management and develop the procedure necessary to implement.
- DG Certification Required.
- Easily adapt to change and function efficiently in a high stress environment.
- Compliance certifications required to perform required duties obtained and maintained.
