Role Description
We are seeking a talented and driven Engineer/Senior Engineer specializing in Data Science & AI, with a strong emphasis on computer vision and machine learning, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to our pioneering projects in intelligent systems that transform operational data into actionable information that enable End Users to make trusted decisions.

Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement computer vision algorithms and machine learning models for a range of applications, including object detection, change detection, anomaly detection, multiclass classification, behaviour analysis, and video stitching and scaling.
· Contribute to cross-functional teams developing proof-of-concepts and conduct experiments in realistic environments to validate algorithms, optimize performance, and ensure the robustness of models in real-world applications.
· Able to generate good quality documentation and capture patentable inventions.
· Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer vision technologies to continually enhance our capabilities.
· Motivated to share knowledge via presentations in internal and external events.
· In the case of a Senior Engineer profile, act as the computer vision subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and mentorship in the team.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with specialisation in Data Science and AI.
· Hands-on experience in computer vision and machine learning, with a diverse portfolio of projects.
· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or C, and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV) and MLOps concepts (e.g. KubeFlow).
· Solid understanding of deep learning architectures and algorithms like CNN and vision transformer, particularly in the context of image and video analysis.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Desired Skills:
· Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and big data technologies.
· Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time processing.

Description and Requirements
We are seeking an experienced and innovative AI Development Architect to lead the development of Lenovo’s AI technology platform. This role is responsible for designing and delivering core AI infrastructure components, including GenAI-based model development platforms, enterprise knowledge & data platform, and intelligent agents. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering skills with deep expertise in GenAI technologies to drive scalable, intelligent solutions across Lenovo’s product ecosystem.

1. Product Development & Technical Leadership:
Lead the design and development of Lenovo’s AI technology platform, including GenAI-powered model training and inference pipelines, RAG-based knowledge systems, and intelligent agents.

Evaluate and adopt leading GenAI frameworks, tools, and best practices to accelerate innovation.
2. Global Team Collaboration:

Experience: • 5–8 years total in AI/ML, with 2–3 years in a leadership or technical management role. • Proven experience in deploying ML models into production (real-time or batch). • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, etc. Technical Proficiency: • Proficient in Python and ML libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc. • Experience with model lifecycle: training, tuning, deployment, and monitoring. • Strong understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, or generative AI. • Familiarity with MLOps: Docker, Kubernetes, MLFlow, CI/CD for AI pipelines. • Experience working with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure. Soft Skills: • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills. • Analytical mindset with attention to both big-picture strategy and technicaldetail.
