Role Overview
As the AI/ML Product Manager at TROOPERS, you will be leading efforts to transform the frontline workforce and gig economy with data-driven innovation. You’ll work cross-functionally to develop and scale AI/ML solutions that improve platform efficiency, talent-job matching, automation, and analytics. This position combines strategic planning with technical execution, utilizing TROOPERS’ proprietary technology and regional scale to make a measurable impact aligned with our core values—Accountability, Legitimacy, and Transparency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and operational goals across regions.
2. Solution Development: Collaborate with data product managers and web/app engineers to develop algorithms, automation scripts, and predictive models that enhance decision-making and user experience.
3. End-to-End Ownership: Manage initiatives from conception to launch, including gathering business requirements, conducting feasibility assessments, UAT, and monitoring post-launch metrics.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Validate ideas with internal user representatives (e.g., clients, talent, recruiters), ensure alignment with technical, design, and business teams, and oversee integration into web and app platforms.

Job Requirements

• 3–5 years of product management experience, with at least 1–2 years focused on AI/ML or data products.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, data pipelines, and model deployment lifecycle.
• Experience in writing AI/ML product specifications, defining success metrics, and managing UAT processes.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with frontline workforce platforms, HR tech, or gig economy ecosystems.
• Familiarity with tools such as Python, SQL, MLFlow, or dashboarding frameworks like Looker Studio.
• Knowledge of ethical AI, bias mitigation, and data governance practices.
• Experience in high-growth startups or cross-country product rollouts.

Large-language-model agents are only as smart as the data they retrieve. Our builders can’t prototype, test, or scale automations until someone guarantees that product specs, brand tone, and customer history are all searchable, current, and privacy-safe. That “someone” is you. As our Data Engineer for Vector DB & MCP Hygiene, you’ll design governed schemas, build real-time pipelines, and keep the Master Customer Profile (MCP) squeaky-clean—so every query returns the right facts in milliseconds.

Stand-up & Tune

Spin up, shard, and auto-scale vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant) matched to workload and cost targets. ( dataaspirant.com ) Benchmark recall, p95 latency, and index-size drift; tweak HNSW/IVF parameters for optimal trade-offs.

Model the World

Define vector-store schemas keyed to personas, asset types, and conversation stages. Design a governed feature-store API that keeps training and serving data consistent. ( tecton.ai )

Ingest & Embed

Build streaming ETL pipelines (dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Kafka) that chunk & embed historical docs, brand guidelines, and customer events into vectors. Implement delta-merge strategies so updates go live without full re-index.

Scrub & Secure

Clean, deduplicate, and normalize the Master Customer Profile using probabilistic matching and rule-based merges; document lineage for auditors. ( rtdynamic.com ) Enforce PII masking, consent flags, and API-rate limits via policy-as-code (OPA, AWS WAF).

Expose & Monitor

Publish versioned retrieval and feature APIs consumed by AI Automation & Prompt Engineers. Instrument dashboards for latency, recall, freshness, and error-budget burn-down; trigger alerts on drift.

Job Specifications:

1.Knowledge and Experiences Required

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in AI-driven marketing or product management, with a strong understanding of creative processes and technology integration
• Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, and some no-code (Zapier, Make, Airtable, Notion, Dify, etc.)
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative AI solutions
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy and creative production with the ability to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions
• Experience with project management, including managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications

AI Research Scientist (Medical Imaging) Digital Health Unit

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative AI Research Scientist to lead the development and improvement of AI models focused on oral lesion detection as part of the MeMoSA (Mobile Mouth Screening Anywhere) project. This role is pivotal in advancing our institution’s work in medical AI and setting the foundation for building a dedicated in-house AI research team in the long term. The candidate is expected to be able to work independently but will receive support from our established collaborators from Malaysia and the UK.

SCOPE / PURPOSE OF JOB

Short-Term Objectives (Year 1–2):

• Improve and optimize existing oral lesion detection AI models using the latest deep learning and computer vision techniques
• Develop novel, bias-aware , transparent , and explainable AI approaches to improve clinical trust and applicability.
• Collaborate with dental and medical experts to ensure clinical relevance and data validity.
• Conduct experiments, analyze model performance, and produce high-quality technical documentation and research papers.
• Manage data pre-processing pipelines, annotation quality checks, and model evaluation metrics.

Long-Term Objectives:

• Support the recruitment and mentoring of junior researchers or AI engineers as we build an internal AI team.
• Propose and lead new AI research projects in healthcare beyond oral lesion detection (e.g., predictive analytics, other imaging modalities, NLP for healthcare records).
• Contribute to the design of a scalable AI research infrastructure within the institution.

Qualifications

PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Artificial Intelligence , Machine Learning , Biomedical Engineering , or related fields.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in deep learning, preferably in medical imaging (experience with oral or dental images is a plus).
• Strong understanding of model fairness , bias mitigation , explainability (XAI) , and ethical AI .
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow .
• Familiarity with tools and libraries for interpretability (e.g., SHAP, LIME, Grad-CAM).
• Track record of publications in reputable AI or medical imaging conferences/journals is highly desirable.
• Experience in leading small research or development projects is a plus.
