Job Description

This job is for a Software Engineer who will integrate the Autocount app with other systems like warehouses and CRMs. You might like this job because you'll use your C# skills to create seamless connections and solve tech challenges with a fun team!

Responsibilities:

Gather requirements from stakeholders to identify integration needs for Autocount with third-party systems.
Develop and maintain integration solutions between Autocount and third-party systems, such as warehouse management systems, CRM systems, and other software using C#.
Design integration workflows and data mappings, and create technical specifications.
Collaborate with third-party API support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the integration.
Develop and maintain custom scripts, plugins, or other integration tools as needed using C#.
Perform testing and validation of the integration solutions to ensure data accuracy and system stability.
Provide technical support to end-users as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience developing software integrations using C#, API, REST, XML, and other integration technologies.
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including software design, coding, testing, and documentation.
Familiarity with Autocount desktop application and various third-party systems, such as warehouse management systems, CRM systems, and other software, is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of security best practices in software development.
Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns
Experience leading a team of software engineers and managing software development projects

Bonus Skills

Experience with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices.
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

IT Application Management

Lead the development, design, and implementation of new applications and enhancements to existing systems and software packages.
Ensure effective delivery of IT solutions with a focus on cost efficiency and quality, maximizing the return on IT investments.
Develop and execute action plans that support the TECH Division’s strategy through structured planning, established methodologies, and appropriate resource allocation.
Oversee and enforce adherence to the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software quality management standards.
Align system delivery with the Enterprise Architecture framework to ensure consistency and scalability.
Maintain high application availability and ensure timely resolution of system issues and incidents.

Design

Own and manage a portfolio of solutions, ensuring scalable and performance-optimized architecture.
Translate business and functional requirements into effective system designs.
Lead the design and implementation of new applications and system enhancements.
Serve as the technical lead for medium to high-complexity projects and initiatives that support business growth.

Development

Develop software code following best practices and coding standards.
Conduct unit and system integration testing (SIT) prior to user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide support during UAT and resolve any issues that arise.
Deliver second-level production and incident support in collaboration with first-level support teams.

Project Scope

Lead medium to high-complexity projects, accountable for end-to-end application delivery.

Job Requirements

General requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an accredited institution.
8–10 years of experience in IT application development, with at least 6–8 years in a supervisory role within the relevant domain.
Proven track record in executing IT projects and delivering system applications and technology implementations.
Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with middle management and internal/external stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth understanding of insurance business operations, including distribution channels.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.

Technical requirements:

Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and technologies, including Java Content Repository (API), Sling, Apache Felix OSGi, DAM, and Workflows.
Experience integrating AEM with Adobe products such as Analytics, Target, and Campaign.
Proficient in AEM building blocks: templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and bundles.
Experience with AEM data migration and backend/frontend integration.
Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML/HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Solid Java/J2EE background with working knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
Proficient in relational databases (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle) and T-SQL.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and architectural styles.

About The Role

Minimum Job Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web, mobile app, or technical product management.

Strong understanding of the product management lifecycle and best practices in web and application development.
Proven ability to translate digital innovation and vision into practical, hands-on solutions within existing constraints.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with various development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and a solid grasp of common software development practices.

About the Role

You are responsible and accountable for the delivery/ implementation of back office application solutions (Group400), within AIA in which requires you to implement (design/code) solutions to meet business objectives/requirements. You may be required to work with multiple stakeholders (IT, third party vendors, business team) in the implementation process. Job Requirements:

Degree in IT from an accredited institution.
5 - 6 years of experience in IT Product Management/ Software Engineering environment, with 3-4 years in supervisory experience on the supported IT domain.
Strong process improvement experience for software development.
Strong presentation and process documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
Strong technology and architecture background for middle and back office solutions (ie. BPM, Group 400, Life Asia, Polisy Asia, Enterprise Integration, Content Mgmt, Customer Comm Mgmt, etc.).
Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with middle and senior management team, internal & external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Domain proficiency in insurance business and its operations including distribution channels modus operandi is preferred.
Able to work independently and highly self-motivated.
Able to work with peers and other stakeholders, a team player.

About The Role

You are responsible and accountable for the delivery/ implementation of back office application solutions (Group400), within AIA in which requires you to implement (design/code) solutions to meet business objectives/requirements. You may be required to work with multiple stakeholders (IT, third party vendors, business team) in the implementation process. Must have good technical/analytical skills, and be able to multi-task within a complex environment and have good people skills.

Software Design and Engineering (80%)

Responsible for application development (design/coding) activities and deliveries for Group Policy Admin system (G400).
Accountable and responsible for one or more application solutions/systems with quality, architecture/risk/security compliance and continuous improvement.
Responsible for governance and execution around software development, including version control, code review and structure, architecture, security, quality and performance.
Managing vendor services and SLA for applications/systems under his/her purview.
Manage application availability and reliability with timely resolution of issues and problems.

Resource & Team Management (10%)

Optimize resource planning and utilization to deliver maximum output to support business demands

Job Description

Our Technology and Platform Services department designs and secures the platform that underpins all of our offerings, achieving scalability and continuous improvement through innovation and collaboration.

EcoVadis is currently seeking a motivated Technical Lead to join our web applications teams.

As the technical leader of the development team, you’ll be responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of web-based solutions.
You’ll not only spend time doing hands-on development, but you’ll also define architectures for new projects, perform code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
You’ll actively collaborate with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams to integrate, test, and deliver complex software solutions in a timely fashion.
The ability to self-direct, collaborate with remote team members, and interface with Product Management are key for this role.

Some of the responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Take the ownership over architecture qualities (e.g.: availability, resilience, and scalability) of all solutions you build and deliver. Promote technical excellence within the engineering team via everyday craftsmanship

Work within an agile team to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies.
A passion for growing each person on your team through coaching, motivation, and leading by example
Work with Team Leader & Product Owner to understand desired application capabilities.
Promote technology expertise with insights about current technology trends and solutions
Identify and characterize technical risk throughout SDLC and generate mitigation options.
Help determine how best technology can be applied to meet our customer’s needs.

Qualifications

7+ years working experience as a senior software engineer
2+ years in design and architecture review
2+ years building modern web applications based on Web APIs (REST, RPC-over-HTTP, WebSockets, CQRS, DDD etc.)
Expert knowledge in build web applications & Web HTTP APIs based on .NET stack with C# - ASP.NET MVC / Web API / Core, MS SQL Server.
Practical experience with microservices architecture.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Ability to interview and contribute to the selection and training of engineers
Experience and clear understanding of how to plan and execute within iterations and sprints
Ability to work well in an international and multicultural environment in a fast-growing company.
Experience building enterprise-grade, public-facing web applications
Fluency in English required.
Self-driven and team player.
Practical experience with building enterprise JavaScript applications using React+Redux is a plus.
