Provides final approval for subordinate managers/supervisors salary and performance recommendations. Builds cross-functional relationships where persuasive skills, negotiation skills, and considerable tact are required to gain support. Interacts directly with subordinates and peer groups; interfaces with senior managers on issues related to the area of expertise. Maintains positive relationships with key customers, suppliers, etc., who have a significant impact on the success of the organization.
Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Manages, advises and guides regional commodity teams for allocation of constrained commodities.
- Identifies supply vs demand profile for all allocated products within Celestica and proportion by customer and geography and communicate allocation.
- Resolves critical shortages that have been escalated and work with senior executives of suppliers to increase supplier support of products.
- Consolidates and reports customer service or revenue impacting items and ensure no impact to Celestica in the marketplace.
- Manages team for establishing rapid component sourcing for new program introduction and inter-site product transfers across defined geography.
- Develops new strategic processes, systems and a toolset to facilitate the sourcing process while maintaining strict controls.
- Directly manages a group of SCM employees or managers.
- Maintains responsibility for employee training, performance, measurement, development, motivation and recognition.
- Establishes department goals/ measurements and manages resources to achieve this goals.
- Drives continuous improvements of SCM function through interactions with other departments.
- Expert knowledge of the marketplace conditions for broad range of strategic commodities.
- Excellent knowledge of Celestica’s global supply chain including strategic policies and objectives.
- Good understanding of global business environment and Customers business, organization, products and processes.
- Strong knowledge of office systems and analytical tools.

Responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft maintenance certification and defect rectification;
- Ensure all maintenance works on aircraft, engine, component and equipment are recorded and carried out properly in the shift;
- Record defect findings with proper action handling and rectification;
- Ensure work performed in accordance with an approved maintenance data;
- Ensure all maintenance works are performed by using an approved material;
- Assist CAMO to monitor aircraft technical status;
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned, including AOG spare part inspection and receiving, riding engineer duty, outstation duty and heavy maintenance check on-site support;
- Assist CAMO to establish the aircraft’s defect data base record;
- Establish good co-operational relationship with local MROs, service provider and agents;

Requirements:
- The candidate is required to reposition to Kuching, Malaysia;
- Minimum 3 years’ of working experience in airlines M&E / MRO;
- Valid FAA A&P Licenses with one or more of below aircraft type ratings is preferable;
