Responsibilities:

+ Collects data and uses data collected by others. Understands key quality metrics and current performance levels. Uses technology to visually present data and analyses in meaningful ways. Leverages tools to simplify complex data or information to improve comprehension. Takes the initiative to create new adhoc reports to meaningfully represent business outcomes and drive decisions. May or may not recommend new standard reports based on data trends. Routinely summarizes and may formally present information on defect data, process improvement data and analyses and recommendations to management, which may include Senior Managers or Directors, within or outside their functional area. Participates in training technician and/or engineers within functional area by developing and deploying currricula and/or mentoring. Acts as advisor to less senior technicians and/or engineers in reviewing draft presentations
+ Represents the unit on project teams. May perform in project leadership role on projects of significant scope and impact. Represents the organizations as the principal customer contact
+ Assists in building accurate schedules
+ May be requested to provide input on budget items
+ Resolves problems of significant scope that require development and selection of procedures and processes

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
+ 8-12 years experience
+ Specific education and training in quality disciplines is required
+ Problem solving and analytical ability

The Advanced Application Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of the engineering outcomes from initial design through to final certification in accordance with all contracted documents and referenced standards. You will have responsibility over a team of local and remote engineers contributing design across several parallel work fronts, ensuring there is a consistency to the approved design model used for each deployment. This role is reporting to the Engineering Manager.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Possess a comprehensive understanding of control system principles and design.
+ Be highly skilled in translating customer requirements into clear definition of scope.
+ Assessment of customer site for installation requirements and installation design.
+ Sales assistance, involving innovative use of latest technology in establishing system design, and providing project estimates for works that fall outside our contract.
+ Prepare submittals per engineering standards, ensuring commitment dates are met.
+ Support the project controls team with planning / scheduling of project execution including attendance to relevant design meetings.
+ Develop and test software, deliver commissioning packages, and support field start-up activities.
+ Provide directions to project teams, manage consultants, and support field commissioning staff with expert guidance.
+ Ensure defect-free delivery through Quality Assurance, and maintain compliance with client, legislative, and engineering standards.
+ Apply OH&S principles, participate in safety audits, and contribute to safe and effective design solutions.
+ Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve cohesive project outcomes and share technical knowledge.
**Key Experience & Capabilities:**
+ Degree qualifications in engineering or related discipline from a university or equivalent. (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics).
+ At least 10 years of experience in control system projects (preference in Security, Critical Control Systems, Integrated Systems) with extensive on-site knowledge.
+ Proficient in intermediate to advanced computer skills, with advantageous knowledge of networking, storage, and database technologies.
+ Proven ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
+ Familiar with current trends in IT and technology relevant to engineering and automation.
+ Experienced in managing and working with complex control and automation systems.
+ Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of control system projects.
+ Preferred strong technical foundation in building automation systems, with particular emphasis on HVAC controls, lighting management, and energy optimization technologies.
+ Understanding of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP networking is essential for successful system integration and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system architecture diagrams is required.

**Job Overview**
Core responsibility of the Job holder is the Supplier parts approval/qualification process. Start from supplier Technical & Feasibility review to Supplier parts Approval package following by the Supplier Safe Launch process. The ASQ ensures the supplier FAAR to be successful. Holds main interface / key contact with the supplier base during pre-serial stages.
**Job Requirements**
- Owner of the parts qualification/Approval process (APQP, PPAP) with suppliers in E1 phase, included in migration
projects.
- Performs Technical and Feasibility review at supplier side.
- Support Design Reviews (materials, tool, product features, etc.) on early stages of NPI.
- Key Quality Contact on projects since gate 2 till exiting Safe Launch period.
- Defines QIP Criteria for incoming inspection along with IQE in E1.
- Responsible for Safe launch definition and tracking at Suppliers.
- Responsible for Run @ Rate events at suppliers.
- Follow TE LEANPD process on supplier for new components.
- Involved on measurement correlation with supplier whenever required.
- Responsible for the Complaint Handling / Problem Solving (8D's) / Chargeback process since gate 2 till exiting Safe
Launch period.
- If desired might participate on New Supplier Assessments
- Responsible for application and compliance of Lessons Learned documents before SOP with support of SQE
- Responsible for Reversed FMEA (R-FMEA) execution at Supplier as applicable.
- Ensure traceability.
- Supports other region's parts approval aactivities when geographically convenient.
**What your background should look like**
**Educational Degree**
-B.S. degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related fiel
**Professional Experience (years in** **what processes and function)** :
- 5 years' experience in the supplier APQP process, Automotive Industry is a plus.
- Knowledge on ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred
**Special Qualifications, Knowledge** **& Skills**
- Demonstrated skills in a matrix environment
- Working Knowledge on specific product and process as required (e.g., Molding, Stamping, PAB/PCBA, diecasting.)
- Be familiar with the tools related to supplier APQP process, including but not limited to APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, and 8D's.
- Ability to work across cultures and countries effectively.
- Thorough knowledge of Problem-Solving tools
- Process Auditor Skills is a plus
- SAP basic knowledge

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Assume leadership role in assigned projects ensuring project delivered on time and within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer
+ Keep technically current with the cyber security solutions, while maintaining expert knowledge on specific designated network disciplines
+ Maintain cyber security certifications
+ Maintain knowledge of current industry security standards such as IEC-62443, ISO 27000, etc.
+ Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support
+ Respond to customer inquiries, questions and issues by diagnosing problems and providing the most appropriate technical solution in an accurate and timely manner
+ Maintain industrial safety awareness through the completion of pertinent safety certifications.
**MUST HAVE**
+ Bachelor's degree in a computer related field such as Computer Science, Computer information systems, electronics or in lieu of degree
+ 8+ years of experience in Networking, end-point security, performing audit/assessments and IT security.
+ CCNA/CCNP Certified Network/Design/Security Professional (at least one) certification is must.
