Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

Responsible for shaping technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
As a Payroll Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting to the payroll accounting lead who covers the scope of payroll accounting for a portfolio of countries.
- Preparing the analysis from our various ERPs to the compensation and benefits accounts including accounting policy implementations.
- Reviewing and approving monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist to review and update payroll accounting processes.
- Working closely with external and internal auditors to assist in completion of audit deliverables.
- Managing accounting process for payroll and related employee accruals.
- Ensuring accounting processes are followed in accordance with documented processes and recommend areas for improvement.
- Handling communication with colleagues and the HCT payroll teams about data gathering and analysis and query resolution.
- Contributing and helping in different projects for the region supporting for another regions in payroll accounting

- Have Bachelor's Level in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
- Have a relevant experience in financial accounting.
- Have an experience in Shared Service and Oil & Gas industry will be added advantage.

The Payroll Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring employees are compensated accurately and in compliance with regulations, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
About the Role
Your main role is responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees. This role involves managing of payroll records, calculating and validate all pay element comes from our vendor, and addressing any payroll-related inquiries raise from associates. The Payroll Specialist must stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations, and collaborate well with both internal & external stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll processing. Our ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in payroll administration and good knowledge of payroll regulations and practices. We value integrity, strong organizational skills and effective team players.
Responsibilities
- Manage end to end employees' payroll processing by consolidate of time-and-attendance and payroll master data and other payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, promotions) in adherence to company timeline
- Support all payroll tool and system upgrades
- Ensure payroll procedure are compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- Support and assist in internal and external audits related to payroll records.
- Maintain consistent, complete, accurate and timely records and prepare all necessary reports and dashboards
- Response promptly to payroll-related inquiries within stipulated service level agreement and provide sustainable resolution to any concerns raised by employees
Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field.
- At least two years of solid working experience in regional payroll (shared services) function.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with payroll software, HRIS and MS Office (specifically Excel).
- A keen eye for details and analytical mind.
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent time management skills and sense of urgency to ensure we are adhered to pay & legislative deadlines.
- Good command in written and verbal communication in English is a must and Fluency in any other languages is a plus.
- Experienced in payroll process improvements or consolidated project shall be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Chinese.
