About the Role
As a Payroll Accounting , you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and accuracy of payroll tax reporting across the overseas market. You will support payroll tax operations, supervise team deliverables, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Payroll Tax Lead covering overseas market.
- Prepare payroll tax calculations from multiple ERPs to support periodic filings and payments for various countries and legal entities.
- Review and prepare annual tax filings, reconciliations, and relevant documentation.
- Supervise and support team members in preparing calculations, ensuring timely submissions, and maintaining accurate archiving of PIT data.
- Liaise with external advisors to stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure ERP/tax filing processes are compliant.
- Document and communicate abnormal tax expenses to Operations and Management.
- Perform and review monthly balance sheet tax account reconciliations, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Support tax and statutory audits and undertake ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 – 5 years of
payroll tax experience across multiple jurisdictions. - Familiarity with ERP systems (
Oracle or SAP preferred
). - Desirable Attributes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
