- Assist in the compilation of financial data in the required XBRL format in accordance with the new MBRS (Malaysia Business Reporting System) submission requirements mandated by SSM (Companies Commission of Malaysia).
- Perform basic accounting entries using accounting software.
- Support the team in double-entry bookkeeping, including recording of sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier/customer accounts, and update ledgers.
- Assist in drafting unaudited financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Help maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Provide support in preparing of tax analysis and other statutory forms, as required.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., MPERS, MFRS).
- Assist with other administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, filing, organizing, billing and etc.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance or any Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ CPA/ MICPA/ .) or equivalent
- Familiar with Microsoft office application (Excel, Word)
- Minimum internship duration of at least 3 months
- Communication skill in English
- Willing to work at Subang Jaya, Selangor
- Keen on learning and maintaining a positive attitude at work

Job scope:
- Prepare and review full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients across diverse industries, ensuring compliance with MPERS, MFRS, and statutory requirements.
- Perform core accounting functions, including journal entries and month/quarter/year-end closing.
- Draft and finalise management accounts, financial statements, and consolidated accounts with accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee client engagements by managing project timelines and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of accounting services.

- Liaise with clients' management to gather information, resolve issues, and provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies (audit methodology, risk management) and external regulatory requirements.
- Undertake other ad hoc job-related duties as assigned.
- Actively contribute to promoting the firm's growth and culture, both internally and externally.
- Prior experience in payroll processing and tax computation will be added advantage
Requirements:
● Minimum Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
● At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a professional services or accounting firm.
● Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
● Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (both written and spoken).
