As the Account Manager/ Senior Account Manager, you will act as a strategic communications partner to clients, providing expert counsel, overseeing project delivery, and driving client engagement to drive organic growth and ensure business and financial targets are achieved.   • In collaboration with the Client Service Director and cross-functional team leads, ensure systems and processes are implemented and optimal to ensure efficient delivery to the highest standards.
  • Plan, monitor, and deliver integrated projects that cover medical publications like manuscripts and abstracts, medical content delivery, advocacy boards, events (Physical & Hybrid), webinars, digital solutions, and CME-accredited learning modules, among other programs.
  • Maintain a holistic knowledge of the industry to channel new ideas into the team and with clients to help establish MIMS as an industry thought leader.
  • Support new business development activities to ensure continued growth of key accounts and securing new business through industry-leading pitches and proposal development.

Job Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and maintaining the relationship with the existing customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Acquiring new accounts & generating a healthy funnel in line with the targets
  • Forecasting and achieving monthly business targets by offering bundled IT solutions to enterprise customers
  • Managing account relationships, effective account mapping
  • Understanding of the assigned account's organizational structure and decision-making hierarchy
  • Ability to make executive pitches and presentations
  • Strategic account planning skills with execution capabilities
  • Ability to understand/interpret client's key requirements
  • Generating Business from the assigned account/area for the products assigned.

About You

  • Experience in IT Industry
  • Account management experience / Direct Sales in Microsoft, Oracle, VMWare, Citrix and Trend Micro products or related areas in Cloud
  • Experience in solution & consultative sales of IT Infrastructure Solutions
  • Excellent understanding of various software products and their licensing policies
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 2 Years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • The role, responsibilities, and geographical focus will change and develop over time along with the company’s rapid growth.

We are a dynamic and fast-growing team that is excited about commerce, retail, and payments and the opportunity to transform these industries with data and technology.

We are looking for passionate individuals who can spearhead the company's growth by optimising revenue growth and retention with our existing merchants. If you have knowledge and/or a keen interest in point of sale, payment systems, account management, and B2B sales, this role might be for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the relationship with existing merchants by proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Leverage upsell and renewal opportunities : You'll advise merchants on new features and use cases within our platform to drive upsell opportunities into new features or higher subscriptions and convert existing customers to annual subscriptions.
  • Expand and grow payment volumes : You will leverage data to identify opportunities to grow payment volumes further for us and our merchants.
  • Churn management: Understand patterns and data to predict potential churn trends and proactively craft strategies to reduce churn.

What we look for in a candidate

  • 1-3 years experience in B2B/IT sales or account management/customer success experience
  • Passionate about technology, fintech, and the F&B and retail space
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good bilingual oral skills and readiness to go the extra mile for our merchants (local languages)
  • Highly driven and energetic individuals with a strong willingness to learn

Job Summary

The Account Manager will be based in Melaka and is accountable to generate profitable sales revenue and increase operating income by broadening sales coverage, establishing new accounts, and providing total solutions for compressed air to customers for South Malaysia region.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source new clients and business prospects (e.g., perform outreach to cold leads via calls and emails).
  • Achieve sales target set for area of responsibilities and industries by building and maintaining close relationships with customers (incl. customer visits) to solicit for orders.
  • Negotiate tender, contract terms and condition and prepare Sales contract.
  • Prepare sales report & monthly forecast, analysing cost and sales, quotations and maintaining and creating new client accounts.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance (incl. demonstration & technical presentations), product training and after-sales support.
  • Attending trade shows, conferences, marketing, and other events.
  • Work closely with supply chain management, sales support and project engineer and order fulfilment team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with sales experience selling industrial products.
  • Driving license & own vehicle.
  • Fluent in English.

Working within South Malaysia (Office located in Limbongan, Melaka, Malaysia).

What You’ll Do

  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy and develop all key relationships to ensure strong foundation for solution selling.
  • Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value added services.
  • Requires experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment.
  • Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry.
  • Requires comprehensive ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market full set of Arrow offerings incorporating in-depth knowledge of Arrow’s key supplier lines.
  • Must be able to prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation and improve customer service. Ability to lead regular QBRs with major customers that unlock additional sales opportunities.
  • Must be able to promote and sell the value add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered by Arrow.
  • Requires proficiency in sales tracking systems, SalesForce.com, Oracle
  • Establish and ability to build relationships with key suppliers.
