Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Junior QA Tester to join our Tech team in the banking domain. This role is ideal for early career professionals with a passion for quality assurance, financial systems, and delivering error-free applications. You will work closely with Senior QA engineers, developers, and business anlysts to ensure high-quality software solutions that support critical banking operations.

You will learn
  • Automation testing to design and execute the projects - Selenium Java
  • Understand User Story, design functional test scenarios/ test cases and test execution through manual & automation scripts
  • Experience in front end screens, API testing and microservices testing
  • Experience in coordination with Interface teams and stakeholders
  • Working experience in Agile Testing
  • Experience in developing automation scripts through Java framework and also automation test execution
  • Able to automate test cases through automation framework proposed by the Bank
  • Experience in sending testing reports
  • Coordination with interface teams
  • Provide test data for test execution
Our Ideal Candidate
  • At least 1 year in testing experience, preferably in Banking Domain.
  • Fresh Graduates who has internship or academic project experience in QA, Testing, or financial systems.
  • Exposure to tool and Skillset such as Java API, JSON & Selennium

What You Will Do

  • Perform manual testing on new technologies
  • Identify and resolve simple quality process issues with little to no supervision and guidance
  • Write tests scenarios and run them during the testing process
  • Identify bugs and report it according to bug template with sufficient detail so that developers can investigate further
  • Report status to cross-functional teams
  • Execute on defined tasks according to guidelines and contribute to solving problems with defined solutions
  • Provide support with the team proactively
  • Mastering your craft and leveraging it for greater impact

What We Need

  • At least 4 years of experience in using manual testing tools and procedures in an agile environment
  • Deep understanding of QA theory
  • Good level of understanding of the software development life cycle and lean/agile QA methodologies
  • Enjoy working in a group and collaborating with cross-functional teams to get things done
  • Good communication in English is a must
  • Continuous learning of innovative approaches to testing and best-practices around it
  • Share new ideas and can adapt to work when circumstances change
