YOUR MISSION:

To ensure our stocktake and inventory management are in accordance with company SOP and policies. Inventory management in terms of reconciliation for closing, involvement in stock take for warehouses and owned & operated stores. In addition, needs to provide inventory transaction support for events, warehouse and owned & operated stores.

Task 1: Inventory reconciliation and preparation of monthly closing

Ensure all inventory and stock movements are maintained accurately, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner.

Task 2: Physical stocktake, reconciliation and adjustments for Warehouses

  • Preparation and Planning annual stocktake dates.
  • Coordinate with the respective departments on the schedule and key cut-off

dates for stocktake to relevant stakeholders.

  • Physically support warehouse annual stocktake.
  • Prepare final stocktake report to Logistics and Finance team.
  • Follow-up on the stock variances.
  • Work with Warehouse team to review major stock discrepancies.
  • Notify Division Manager of any major issues relating to inventory.

Task 3: Physical stocktake, reconciliation and adjustments for Puma Stores

  • Prepare quarterly stocktake roster.
  • Review and finalize stocktake roster with Retail Operation team.
  • Prepare inventory movement cut-off schedule.
  • Reconciliation of inventory movements/transactions and quantity and

ensure data posting are completed before stocktake date.

  • Physically support stocktake at store and/or Remote support.
  • Prepare final stocktake report to Retail Operation and Finance team.
  • Follow-up on the stock variances.
  • Work with Store supervisors and managers to review major stock

discrepancies.

  • Notify Division Manager of any major issues relating to inventory.

Task 4: Inventory transaction support for offsite sales events, warehouses and owned stores

  • Stocks delivery discrepancy
  • Warehouse Cycle Count
  • Inter-store transfer verification
  • POS sales reconciliation
  • Returns of damaged / old season stocks

YOUR TALENT:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or relevant studied.

Professional: At least 2 years relevant working experience in inventory control related field.

IT Skills: Experience in ERP system, preferably in SAP, proficiency in MS office, especially advanced in Excel (Vlookup, PivotTable,etc)

Language Skills: English

The “ Inventory Control Analyst ” will be based in Port Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah, Johor .

Working on daily inventory activities including cycle counting, data collection, implementing and reviewing processes to maintain inventory security and integrity to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum value to the company. Researches and disposes of excess inventory and makes recommendations for reducing and controlling inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst 3, Inventory Control to join our team in Batu Kawan, Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, improving inventory accuracy, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Utilize ERP systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MES) to maintain inventory data accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on inventory performance metrics (e.g., turnover, days on hand, stockouts).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to support decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory requirements to meet business needs
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
  • Recommend process improvements, digitalization and automation to enhance inventory management practices.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory control
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management processes.
  • Support internal and external audits related to inventory control.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control or related field.
  • Proficient in SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS), with strong technical knowledge to support and troubleshoot warehouse and inventory processes.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard inventory control frameworks (e.g., APICS CPIM) and tools such as MRP/ERP systems, WMS, and inventory management software.

In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min 5 years of experience in inventory control, stock audits, and shrinkage management.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, stock audits, and shrinkage management, preferably from RETAIL industry.
  • Experienced working and handling team for min 3 years for “Cycle Count” and “Perpetual Inventory experience”.

**Job Description**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst 3, Inventory Control to join our team in Batu Kawan, Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, improving inventory accuracy, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.
+ Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
+ Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
+ Utilize ERP systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MES) to maintain inventory data accuracy and integrity.
+ Prepare regular reports and dashboards on inventory performance metrics (e.g., turnover, days on hand, stockouts).
+ Conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy
+ Generate and analyze inventory reports to support decision-making processes
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory
+ Forecast demand and plan inventory requirements to meet business needs
+ Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
+ Recommend process improvements, digitalization and automation to enhance inventory management practices.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory control
+ Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management processes.
+ Support internal and external audits related to inventory control.
+ Train and mentor junior analysts or warehouse personnel on inventory procedures and systems.
**Qualifications**
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in inventory control or related field.
+ Proficient in SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS), with strong technical knowledge to support and troubleshoot warehouse and inventory processes.
+ Knowledge of industry-standard inventory control frameworks (e.g., APICS CPIM) and tools such as MRP/ERP systems, WMS, and inventory management software.
Preferred:
+ Advanced proficiency in inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in demand forecasting models, inventory optimization techniques, and supply planning strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management.
+ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
+ Professional certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Experience:
+ Demonstrated success in reducing inventory discrepancies and improving stock accuracy through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
+ Proven ability to lead and execute physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes with high accuracy and compliance.
+ Hands-on experience in designing and implementing inventory control procedures, audits, and reporting tools to ensure process integrity.
+ Track record of optimizing inventory levels through data-driven analysis, demand forecasting, and collaboration with planning and procurement teams.
+ Experience in managing aged and slow-moving inventory, including driving disposal, rework, or reclassification actions.
+ Successfully led cross-functional initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, scrap handling, and inventory visibility.
+ Consistent track record of using SAP or other WMS/ERP systems to monitor, report, and improve inventory control KPIs.
+ Played a key role in internal/external audit readiness and compliance, with documented improvements in audit scoring or findings reduction.
+ History of driving or supporting digitalization/automation efforts in inventory control processes.
