Responsible for financial reporting covering both periodic and ad-hoc requirements.
Maintain the accuracy and reliability of all data in compliance with corporate directives and legal requirements.
Oversee hotel financial operations and maintain the full set of accounts.
Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and performance analysis reports.
Manage treasury functions including cash flow reporting, cash collections, and compliance with banking covenants.
Ensure strict adherence to Financial Reporting Standards, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory laws for financial, statutory, audit, and tax reporting.
Establish and maintain adequate internal controls.
Collaborate with external auditors, government authorities, and tax agents to ensure timely completion of audits and tax submissions.
Analyze financial statements to identify weaknesses, review performance of business units.
Train and mentor subordinates on technical accounting knowledge.
Assist with ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in hospitality.
Ability to analyze financial data, statements, and projections.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
Willing to work in Langkawi.
