You will be an integral part of our process engineering team providing deep technical insight and provide support to ExxonMobil’s manufacturing facilities globally.
Currently, we have an opportunity for an Experienced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Practitioner to join our Kuala Lumpur Technology Center team. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur, and you will be working primarily with our global LCA and process engineering team, and also with many other ExxonMobil organizations.
If successful, your key deliverables will include:
1. Provide active technical leadership in the company in the area of LCA
2. Collaborate with local and global process engineers to determine environmental impacts of existing processes and products
3. Use LCA concepts and methods to develop solutions for emerging technologies and new products
4. Support business development efforts on new applications of ExxonMobil products using LCA analysis
5. Use LCA analysis to evaluate technology options through the lens of existing and emerging policies, and advise ExxonMobil accordingly
6. Identify and obtain relevant data for models from internal sources (e.g., business partners, manufacturing sites) or reputable open sources
7. Provide guidance and mentorship to new LCA Practitioners
8. Engage externally (e.g., industry associations) to promote scientific methodologies
Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred)
2. 5-10 years of work experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Refining Industry
3. Minimum 5 years of work experience in the LCA technology
4. Experience with LCA software, e.g., LCA for Experts, SimaPro, GREET, OpenLCA, etc.
5. Familiarity with low-carbon process technologies strongly preferred
6. Background in one or more process technologies related to upstream oil & gas operations, refining, chemicals/lubricants manufacturing
7. Ability to understand and utilize process flowsheets, material and energy balances
8. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, especially in multi-cultural global teams
9. Ability to influence and promote change to achieve desired results with no or minimal direct authority

The PLM Specialist is part of the team responsible for the maintenance of the PLM system within APAC and will support the implementation of the new PLM Software. You will be responsible for assuring quality and trust in the data and be the first point of contact for data-related questions in your field. You will work closely with R&D developers and PLM users to maintain PLM data flow throughout the specification lifecycle, enrich data, provide feedback to users and drive system improvement. You are the PLM data custodian, and thanks to your action, the PLM system is trustworthy and data used as a strategic R&D asset.
This requires technical rigor, attention to detail and a relentless drive for completion with excellence. This role plays a critical role in the maintenance, protection and utilisation of a critical R&D asset (our recipe know-how and IP). This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to specifications, leveraging best in class practices throughout all R&D activities and helping to support speed to market.
- Support the implementation of the new PLM Software, user acceptance test and user support
- Ensure successful migration of the data into the new PLM software: migration, validation, completeness
- Collaborate with specification creators within your area of responsibility, to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of product data until product retirement
- Ensure the maintenance of the product data (new data entry, parameter updates, new requirements)
- Monitor data quality periodically, raise gaps and coordinate issue resolution

**About the role:**
As a CBRE HR Operations - Employee Life Cycle (APAC) you will act as the subject matter expert on processes and procedures focused either on a country or workstream level. Provides next level support in terms of more complex cases and HR services but may also support simple cases during spikes. Supports escalations and provides resolutions on key areas of concern.
This job is part of the Human Resource Operation team, which is responsible for end-to-end Employee Life Cycle (ELC) processes across APAC countries.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Supports volume in terms of sorting, processing and responding to employee and people team inquiries related to employee life cycle that may be more complex in terms of compensation and benefits, employee services, competency & performance and payroll via ticketing system (Service Now), email, chat or phone.
+ Validates and audits employee data in Peoplesoft. Perform corrections and update on employee data as necessary.
+ Updates employee movements including onboarding and offboarding (e.g. hiring, transfer, promotion, termination, resignation) and personal data changes accurately.
+ Support in creation of employee documentation as per defined processes and requests.
+ Maintain employee (e.g. leave of absence) data in the system such as leave data administration, return to work, leave extension and cancelation administration.
+ Maintain compensation and benefits data in the system (salary data changes, employee bonus data, off-cycle salary increment etc.).
+ Perform administration on all documentations including, but not limited to, policies, summary plan description, invoices, contracts, Personnel File, and other compliance documentations. Generate letters using build in templates in the system.
+ Monitors and reviews Service Now tickets that may be at risk or have been ageing. Identifies and derives resolutions.
+ Performs random audit and quality checks on tasks and cases completion.
+ Handle escalations, non-standard or exception requests/issues for approval in a timely manner regarding People related matters to the Immediate supervisor.
+ Act as Subject Matter Experts on more complex or country specific processes.
+ Performs a review on existing processes and updates them to ensure they remain relevant.
+ Looks at process improvement and automation opportunities to help drive better efficiencies.
+ Performs root cause analysis and investigation on identified issues, escalations and problematic cases.
+ Supports audit activities in partnership with in-country counterparts for People related services supported by PSC.

**What You'll need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Organizational Development, Service Management or relevant field.
+ Years of experience in processing HR transactional tasks, including but not limited to Employee pre-boarding/off-boarding, Benefit Administration, Employee Data Management, Payroll, HR reporting or other HR general operations.
+ Have prior shared service experience supporting Asia Pacific region or multiple countries with subject matter expertise on processes/services or has been in a support function.

+ Management and control of PLC operation: Compliant with Core model, Global and local policies, KPI and Internal control.
+ Meet or exceed monthly executive KPI targets and identify improvement areas.
+ Legal & Regulatory acknowledge, implementation and control: Employment laws, Data privacy laws (e.g., PDPA), Labor audits and compliance reporting.
+ Ensure compliance with Sanofi policies and data privacy regulations. Act as the guardian of data privacy for the team, ensuring compliance with local legislation, maintain maximum confidentiality of employee data.
+ Oversee the quality of data and proactively address potential issues.
+ Guarantee monthly compliance with internal controls, particularly those impacting managed processes.

+ Follow up his/her Team due attendance of Tier 1 and 2 Level queries (tickets) from employees regarding PLC topics in a timely and quality manner.

+ Manage team growth and ensure Individual Development Plans (IDP) for each team member are updated and communicated properly during career dialogues.
+ Inspire and align the Team with Sanofi's strategic direction while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, excellence and innovation.

+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations or people lifecycle management.
+ Strong knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Advanced proficiency in Workday, One Support and HR systems.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
+ Confidentiality - handling sensitive employee data.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience leading HR transformation projects is a plus.
+ Having knowledge of labor law in the relevant countries is a plus.
**Languages:**
+ Proficiency in English (advanced level).
+ Proficiency in Japanese for Japan Scope.
+ Proficiency in local languages is a plus.

The People Services PLC Manager will manage the full People Life Cycle process for ensuring the seamless execution of processes like On Boarding, Off Boarding, Job Change, Data management (physical and digital), External Work Force, One Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 Level. Leading a team of 10+ people, the PS PLC Manager will ensure that the procedures listed below and related to PLC area are executed within the due legal framework and Sanofi's corporate policies, ensuring that processes are perform and deliver under an adequate environment of control and segregation of duties, minimizing the risks associated.
