Job Title: System Analysis

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Junior System Analyst to join the Data - GDW team. The role involves working with large-scale data platforms and tools to support enterprise-level analytics and data integration initiatives. Candidates should have experience across Cloudera Hadoop, Teradata, Informatica, QlikSense, Power BI, and Python/R, with exposure to financial analytics domains.

Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to gather and analyze requirements
  • Perform system analysis, data mapping, and workflow documentation for analytics and reporting projects
  • Support data integration using tools like Informatica, Kafka, and Python
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and QlikSense
  • Conduct system testing, data validation, and defect resolution
  • Work with large data sets from platforms like Teradata, Oracle, Cloudera Hadoop, and AS400 DB2
  • Support automation and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SonarCube
  • Participate in data modeling (FSLDM/Data Marts), especially for credit risk, retail banking, or treasury use cases

    COE will enable OPELLA to work seamlessly and break barriers:

    • Minimizing process duplication & discrepancies across countries, harmonize business rules and ways of working

    • Leverage new solutions to foster simplification, automation, and enhance quality of service
    • Support global deployments: Design and deploy capabilities at regional or global level to reduce overall effort and scale up more rapidly

    Main Responsibilities

    • Implement Finance M&S COE AMEA
    • Recruit and onboard a new team in hub location, while managing transition with existing team members.
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer and training within the team.
    • Develop and execute a roadmap to organize the team by process.

    Lead Finance M&S BA&C AMEA team, including all reporting aspects for M&S AMEA:

    • Manage, mentor, and develop the team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Ensure alignment of processes with all stakeholders, including site Finance Performance lead teams, site heads, and Global M&S teams.
    • Lead and oversee reporting activities during monthly closing and forecasting exercises.
    • Anticipate and prepare for forecast exercises by defining financial reporting guidelines for the entire region.
    • Supervise data preparation and consolidation in financial tools.
    • Ensure data quality and consistency in accordance with standard procedures.
    • Prepare detailed analysis, comments, and presentations for Opella management.
    • Develop and deliver high-quality standard reports and dashboards.
    • Coordinate ad-hoc reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate data submission.
    • Continuously strive for process simplification and efficiency improvements.

    Requirements

    • Experience: Strong experience in Finance, notably in Manufacturing and Supply.
    • Soft skills: Able to work in multi-cultural environment, capacity to lead a team and influence different stakeholders, advanced change management skills, analytical mind, proactive, business-oriented, demonstrated communication skills, looking for continuous improvements.
    • Technical skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel, and in financial tools such as TM1 and SAP. Willingness to discover new tools, and new ways of creating value from data sources.
    • Education: master’s degree in finance or business administration.
    • Languages: Fluent in English.

    Purpose Statement

    Analyzes, specifies, designs, documents, tests, and delivers business systems and information system process solutions to meet business requirements.

    Job Responsibilities

    1. Experienced in SAP SCM (MM & IM) modules.
    2. SAP modeling & system support.
    3. End-user support & troubleshooting in systems integration interfaces with internal systems (e.g., manufacturing applications: PLM – SAP – MES).
    4. Project coordination in creating project plans, timelines, and schedules; tracking progress to ensure projects stay on course.
    5. Improve application/system efficiency and recommend implementation of new systems or upgrades to meet customer and company requirements.
    6. Participate in cross-functional teams (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Production) to articulate site requirements, coordinate site testing (user acceptance testing, system simulation testing), and documentation.
    7. Resolve recurring issues related to manufacturing applications or processes by collaborating with systems or process owners and project teams to find permanent solutions.

    Job Requirements

    1. Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
    2. 10-12 years of experience in implementing & supporting SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
    3. Skills required: SAP data analytics, project management, and SAP programming.

    Functional Knowledge

    1. Experienced in SAP SCM (MM & IM) modules.
    2. SAP modeling & system support.
    3. End-user support & troubleshooting in systems integration interfaces with internal systems (e.g., manufacturing applications: PLM – SAP – MES).

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform the forecasting, developing financial model and planning process for the company financials, short- & long-term plan for various business units and projects.
    • Responsible for product profitability by working with various team to ensure company achieving positive contribution margin & profitability
    • Involvement in corporate development especially in the formulation of strategies, actions plans and target tracking of projects
    • Develop and lead monthly, quarterly & annual plan budget process including budgeting, forecast & variance analysis working with team leaders and present projections to senior management.
    • Coordinate & collaborate with other teams to analyse different projects to develop goals, measure performance and make recommendations by search financial opportunities to improve business & budgeting process.
    • Assist with all team leaders to monitor and report on progress & performance for each proposal that has gone through business & strategic planning.
    • Perform monitoring the monthly / yearly cost incurred for each budget proposal with the objective of being able to provide periodic updates to management
    • Lead by planning & executing special projects assigned by the top-tier management to advance our strategic goals
    • Manage & oversee the relationship with internal & external stakeholders.
    • Perform other ad-hoc related duties as assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, corporate finance, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • An added advantage if you have ACCA, CPA or CFP
    • Proven relevant experience minimum eight (8) years in a strategy, problem solving role, or analytical role, financial reporting, corporate performance & monitoring, preferably in corporate setting.
    • Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring development teams.
    • Comfortable working with large amount of data & converting data into simple insights.
    • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting with an analytical mind with a strategic ability.
