Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required

- Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and database handling is essential
- Ideally, candidates should have project management know-how, with experience in managing projects from initiation to completion
- Strong communication and negotiation skills are required, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Fluent proficiency in English is required, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

To supervise day-to-day production activities to achieve the desired product quality and productivity.
- To organize and allocate manpower for production.
- To ensure plant is operated at optimal level with minimal down time.
- To ensure production records are properly filled in and maintained for every batch.
- To ensure QC samples are sent from plant to laboratory at required intervals for testing purpose
- To check all incoming raw and packaging materials to ensure both the quantities and qualities are in order.
- To keep QC retained samples as per Lab requirement.

• To manage production and resource planning of the shop floor
• To perform capacity planning and volume forecasting
• Zero Safety & Security breach
• Security - Ensure compliance and support plant initiatives with Thales, VISA, MasterCard, ISO 9001, etc. policies, training and best practices
• Health, Safety and Environment - Ensure compliance and support plant initiatives with all Thales, ISO, government policies and regulations.
• Zero non-conformance on VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, CUP, ISO 9001 & etc. certification requirements.
• To initiate improvement and cost savings related projects for the shop floor, such as review and implement efficient & effective manpower/schedule planning, eg. Optimized shift pattern planning/OT strategy/flexi workforce planning
• Supervise and coordinate production staff to ensure smooth operations and workflow.
• Monitor production schedules, ensuring products are delivery on time and within quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily meetings and provide clear communication to the production team.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members for skill development and performance improvement.
• Identify bottlenecks or issues in the production line and implement timely solutions.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and inventory tracking.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to resolve operational issues.
• To generate daily, weekly and/or monthly Production Reports
People Management Related Duties:
• To take charge of production staff recruitment related activities.
• To perform appraisals at specified intervals and proactively provide prompt feedback to the team members
• To monitor and track production staff attendance and tardiness
• To manage production staff leaves and approvals (Time Management System – TMS/e-HR system)
• To drive change management activities to foster positive team culture and spirit:
• To undertake or support any special assignments and perform other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
i) Supervisor will play a key role in the Supervisor is expected to contribute to the continuing
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma with some years of relevant experience, preferably in any Engineering discipline
• Knowledge in six sigma training would be preferred but not compulsory
• Minimum 4 yrs of Supervisor or Team Leader capability in high volume, high tech environment
• Related industry knowledge (Smartcard MFG) or semi-conductor industry knowledge would be a plus
• Relevant working experiences in manufacturing or operations environment
• Good people management skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Customer service skills and experience in dealing with customer will be an added advantage.
• Good Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Self-motivated with strong leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively as a team as well as independently
• Good Analytical and reporting skills
• Resourceful, service-oriented and able to multi-task
• Possess initiative to handle improvement & upgrading activities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization and with customers.

To develop and maintain a feasible plan for hiring, training and management of personnel and to ensure quality issues, process and material flows are operated efficiently. Through his or her management style, the Supervisor actively demonstrates and propagates the core values of BSC. - Delivery of all key performance metrics on a particular shift/project, with a particular focus on "Core 5" and "9 panel" metrics.
- Liaising with warehousing, quality assurance, bulk-packaging and sterilization areas to ensure prompt shipment of product.
- Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.
- Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team.
- Interacting and liaising with the other manufacturing teams and Logistics to prioritize backorders.
- Administration duties which include Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, Build Plan review Back Order review, Travel planning etc.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the production environment is required for this position.
- At least 3 year(s) of experience in direct reports management is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Supervisor specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): supervisory, people management, communication, capacity planning, problem solving, operations management, computer proficiency.
