Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Support the team in building proposals
- Create and /or revise questionnaire/interview guide through discussion with the Insight Director
- Conduct research via interviews, online surveys with medical experts, patients or desk research
- Summarize data in tables, charts, and graphs or storyboard
- Review data for errors and inconsistencies and deliverables ensuring data quality and integrity and all quality control procedures are followed
- Independently discuss analysis design to best answer client questions
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver best in class service to our clients
- Drive time/cost-effectiveness on the project
- Keep up to date with healthcare and pharmaceutical market trends and contribute to the design and development of MIMS Market Research solutions in alignment with MIMS strategic objectives
Qualifications
- Min Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 to 3 years of Market research experience in relevant field which required communication and analytical skills (Healthcare, Med devices, Consumer health, FMCG). Previous experience in both qualitative and quantitative will be advantageous
- Strong communication skills & presentation skills, able to interpret numbers or data through storytelling techniques
- Good client service skills and ability to communicate and write effectively in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge in statistics would be an added advantage

This role is responsible for driving the SEA4 Consumer Insights/Marketing Analytics strategy through design and execution of actionable, consumer-focused analytics. This role will be the in-house expert in producing and presenting trends, advanced analytical and reporting output that is easy to understand with a focus on actions based on business questions. This role will be the partner of brands to provide guidance and advise on how to leverage analytics to blend in their business process addressing their business questions as well as continuously drive adoption by elevating the user experience and coping with the ongoing business needs.
What You Will Achieve
- Market Intelligence:
- Establish a research agenda to unlock white spaces in the competitive landscape
- Drive channel and category discussion utilizing market intelligence data
- Visualize opportunities in the framework of existing product portfolios and service delivery to customers/consumers
- Data processing and management to support usage and communications amongst stakeholders
- Help the business unleash new categories, price segment, benefits and geographical relevant consumer needs that lead into new concepts and product propositions
- Production of analytical output and projects to answer business questions using any tools at your disposal
- Develop reports and data visualizations based on business needs
- Co-ordinate with in-house IT experts as required
- Consumer Insights:
- Support the establishment of Best Proven Practice for ELC consumer research
- Provide valuable inputs to the team on leading edge consumer/shopper research approaches with particular applications/added value to understand the cosmetic consumer/shopper
- Review insights where methodology needs to be fine-tuned to match the particularities of the SEA cosmetic market environment
- Based on consumer data analytics (i.e. customer purchase behavior analysis, portfolio review, pre/post campaign analysis, competitor analysis, media spend), provide strategic insights and recommendations to drive actions for brands to and formulate their marketing and consumer focused strategies and support regional and global analytics projects
- Independently manage analytics related projects. Prepare project specifications for analysis that clearly outline -

- Strong SEA market understanding at a macro economics level to drive predictive modeling forecast of prestige beauty
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and adaptation of the Analytics, CRM and Consumer strategy at the affiliate and regional level
- Mentor and educate DCM and brand function team members on how to leverage Consumer Analytics
- Strong ability to derive actionable insights from data to answer business questions
- Ability to make turn complex output into simple output to achieve a business objective
- Ability to leverage and understand interdependencies between multiple sources of data to derive contextual insights based on business needs. Data sources including: CRM, Social, Digital Marketing, Media/Advertising Spend, Competitor/Industry Data, Consumer/Shopper Insigts

The RONIN Digital Research department was established in 2019 to enhance research fieldwork through innovative digital methodologies. The Digital Research department is a young and rapidly growing department, with research team based in different locations including UK, EU, US, and Asia.
The Asia based Market Research Assistants will work as part of the fast-growing Asia research team, reporting to management team based in Hong Kong. The Asia based Market Research Assistants will collaborate closely with colleagues in Asia on a daily basis (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and other regions). Occasionally Research Assistant will also be expected to work with colleagues based in UK, EU and US. The Research Assistants are expected to work on both traditional CATI research projects and digital research projects. The Research Assistants need to take the initiative and be creative in terms of identifying the most suitable & effective fieldwork approach tailored to the needs of each study.
Full training will be provided on traditional market research methodologies as well as digital methodologies.
This is an entry-level position, ideal for those looking to start their career in market research. - Gain a full understanding of the needs and relevant profiles of each research project;
- Identify the most suitable digital approaches for each research project;
- Use different research methods (including but not limited to, CATI, digital research, social media research, and desk research methods) to identify suitable potential respondents for different projects;
- Learn how best to approach potential survey participants, present a clear reason for participation and how to take part.
- Recruit suitable participants for research;
- Conducting outbound calls to research participants to carry out screening calls, telephone interviews and in-depth interviews;
- Gathering insights and conducting the coding;
- Managing on-line focus groups and reporting accurate data;
- Ensure each step of a project happens smoothly throughout its entire life circle;
- Communicate regularly with other departments as well as other members in digital department;
- Maintain full records of work progress on each project;
- Report the progress to Digital Supervisors and Digital managers on assigned projects on the regular basis;
- Ensure efficiency & effectiveness requirements are met on each project;
- Carry out project related admin tasks where necessary;
- Recognize potential barriers at early stage of projects and suggest methodologies & changes to make the projects feasible;
- Maintain the relationship with research participants and maintain SQL database;
- Adhere to RONIN's market research quality procedures;
- Gain a good understanding of the market research process and of confidentiality requirements relating to GDPR and trade organisation best practice, including processes and procedures relating to RONIN’s certification to ISO 20252, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.

Qualifications required:
Hold undergraduate degrees (bachelor's degrees) or postgraduate degrees, ideally good honours degree or equivalent, from a renowned university or institution;
Language Skill requirements
English – fluent level for spoken English; Professional level for written English

Recruit suitable participants for research; Conducting outbound calls to research participants to carry out screening calls, telephone interviews and in-depth interviews; Gathering insights and conducting the coding; Managing on-line focus groups and reporting accurate data; Ensure each step of a project happens smoothly throughout its entire life circle; Communicate regularly with other departments as well as other members in digital department; Maintain full records of work progress on each project; Report the progress to Digital Supervisors and Digital managers on assigned projects on the regular basis; Ensure efficiency & effectiveness requirements are met on each project; Carry out project related admin tasks where necessary; Recognize potential barriers at early stage of projects and suggest methodologies & changes to make the projects feasible; Maintain the relationship with research participants and maintain SQL database; Adhere to RONIN's market research quality procedures; Gain a good understanding of the market research process and of confidentiality requirements relating to GDPR and trade organisation best practice, including processes and procedures relating to RONIN’s certification to ISO 20252, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus. Perform to the expected quality requirements. Job Purpose
The Brand Advisor - Data Analytics & Consumer Insights position oversees the brand intelligence function powered by data. This involves creating the analytics roadmap, coordinating integrated insights across various channels and offering actionable recommendations to enhance marketing strategy, customer experience and campaign optimization. The role acts as a strategic engine for the Marketing and CX teams, converting intricate data into valuable, future-focused decisions.
- Guide and advance the organization-wide data analytics roadmap, pinpointing system and process improvements to enhance insight delivery and operational efficiency.
- Conduct funnel conversion and behavioral analysis to identify friction points and potential enhancements across digital and offline touchpoints.
- Combine internal and external data sources to derive insights about the brand, market and consumers, including brand health assessments, customer segmentation and performance evaluations.
- Create and manage dashboards and reporting tools that illustrate key findings and trends for senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evaluate campaign performance alongside media outcomes and customer behavior to gauge ROI and guide future initiatives.
- Perform in-depth ad-hoc analyses to address strategic business inquiries and provide quick insights as required.
- Oversee the annual market research plan, ensuring efficient budget use to promote brand growth and enhance customer understanding.
- Facilitate insight-driven discussions with both internal stakeholders and external partners to support customer experience initiatives and brand innovation.
- Stay current with new tools and best practices in analytics, media, digital behavior and consumer research to maintain the team's competitive edge.
- Work closely with the Marketing Data Analyst and Loyalty team to ensure alignment in insights, data strategies and automation prospects.
Required Competencies & Skills
- Solid knowledge of statistical analysis, customer segmentation and experimental design.
- Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g, Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Strong capability in marketing research , agency and budget management and performance evaluation.
- Proven experience in consumer insight generation across qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Deep understanding of media measurement, campaign KPIs and multichannel attribution.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business narratives.
- Highly analytical, strategic thinker and passionate about consumer behavior and market trends.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Economics or a related field.
- 3- 5 years of experience in data analytics, brand insights and consumer research, preferably in marketing or retail.
- Prior experience managing complex market research projects and utilising integrated data platforms.
