Job Responsibilities:

• Proficient in using Flutter to develop and optimize mobile applications, ensuring efficient performance and excellent user experience.
• Able to use Objective-C for iOS native development, or Kotlin/Java for Android native development, and integrate them with Flutter.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to drive the project to delivery on schedule.
• Responsible for app performance optimization, troubleshooting, and bug fixing, ensuring stability.
• Support front-end and back-end decoupling architecture development; familiarity with Vue.js or React framework is preferred.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and apply suitable solutions to practical projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or above, preferably in Computer Science or related fields.
• Over 5 years of mobile development experience, with at least 2 years of experience in Flutter project development.
• Proficient in Dart language and familiar with Flutter state management tools (such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, etc.).
• Experience in iOS development with Objective-C, knowledge of Swift is a plus. Alternatively, experience in Android development with Kotlin/Java is required.

About The Role

An iOS Developer in the insurance sector builds mobile applications that streamline customer interactions, automate claims, and enhance operational efficiency.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Develop/ enhance life insurance product in existing quotation applications
• Understand user requirements and manage new project initiatives.
• Liaise with business users, vendors and other team memberes in providing effective IT services/support and ensuring quality deliveries.
• Participate in the full SDLC (Agile), including meetings, iterative development, estimations and design sessions.
• Ship quality software quickly and frequently.
• Active involvement in UAT/production support to ensure system availabitliy and stability.
• Evaluate emerging technology and competitive solutions in tandem with business and company’s IT plans.
• Maintaining high work standards, productivity level and deliver quality, as committed under the various company Quality initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced members of the team.
• Ensure unit’s conformance to System Development Standard as defined by the Department. This includes understanding and using approved programming methodologies.
• Maintaining technical documentation, following coding standard and help the engineering team enforce good programming practices
• Other duties as required by the management

Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile application development for iOS
• Experience in RESTful/SOAP APIs and integration of third-party libraries.
• Experience in PL/SQL and relevant database design knowledge
• Experience in developing and implementing software using an software development life cycle and agile methodology
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
