JOB OVERVIEW

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding enterprise systems by managing user identities and access privileges across hybrid environments. This position focuses on administering and securing access through Active Directory, Azure, and Entra ID, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

The IAM Analyst will be responsible for provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts, enforcing role-based access controls, and supporting audit and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with identity lifecycle management, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a strong understanding of cloud-based access governance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

User Identity Administration

  • Establish and maintain user accounts and groups in Active Directory, Azure AD, Entra ID and other legacy systems.
  • Administer lifecycle processes including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.

Access Control & Governance

  • Enforce least privileged access policies based on department and role.
  • Implement and maintain RBAC standards and Conditional Access Policies.
  • Ensure proper authorization is obtained before provisioning access.
  • Use industry-standard tools to manage access during onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
  • Administer temporary, expired, inactive, and disabled accounts.
  • Provide immediate support for high-priority access requests while maintaining audit compliance.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain and update process documentation to meet regulatory, client, and corporate standards.
  • Assist with audit evidence collection and resolution of findings related to user account management.
  • Apply advanced IAM concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Participate in the evaluation and development of access management policies and procedures.

Security & Confidentiality

  • Handle confidential data with strict adherence to privacy and security policies.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience in IAM or system access administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Entra ID.
  • Familiarity with RBAC, PIM, MFA, and Conditional Access.
  • Experience with IAM solutions is required
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is desired but not required
  • Experience managing users and groups in Active Directory
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Desk or comparable IT service management tools.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

We are looking for a driven individual with at least three years’ practical experience in delivering and providing engineering/consulting services on SailPoint IIQ/IDN Projects within the Identity & Access Management domain to join our team as a Senior Consultant (SC).The successful candidate will have a high level of technical ability, and a good understanding of business and strategic needs and challenges, enabling them to ensure design and delivery of the best technical solutions every time.

The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing and delivering identity and access management solutions, across some of the following areas:

  1. Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
  2. Identity Management (IDM)
  3. Ideally with good conceptual/practical knowledge of:
  • Access Management (inc. Single Sign-On (SSO)/Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)/Password-less Authentication)
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Consumer Identity (CIAM)

The key technologies we are looking for experience in are:

  • SailPoint IIQ/IDN
  • Optionally any skill in the following technologies would be favourable, but not essential:
  • Okta, CyberArk, SAP IDM, Micro Focus, Thychotic
  • Knowledge of integrations of SailPoint with SAP, HYPR, Okta, CyberArk, ServiceNow will also be an advantage, but not mandatory.

We are looking ideally for someone with the following attributes:

  • Background in both delivering and working with major IAM vendors, specifically:
  • 3+ years in delivering SailPoint IIQ/IDN technologies

Job Requirements

Qualification, Experience & Knowledge

  • Degree holder in or related disciplines in Information Technology / Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in relevant cybersecurity roles (DLP security, Network/Cloud security, Resident Engineer or SOC operations, etc.).
  • Experience in implementing and managing Data solutions or Identity solutions.
  • Experience with networking technologies such as MLPS, SDWAN, SASE, VPN, MCN, WAN, SAN, and network monitoring tools.
  • Experience in scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) is advantages.
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments and managing technical conversations across customer IT and security teams.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of modern security principles, tools, cloud technologies and compliance requirements is essential.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as PDPA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, RMiT, and industry best practices.

About the role:

The Security Engineer will implement the organization's security policies, procedures, and standards. This role requires an in-depth understanding of current and emerging threats and technology to drive innovation and improvement in all technical areas of security.
This role requires a proven background in Cloud Application Security Operations on Azure or AWS.

The operational outcomes of this role will drive collaboration with IT Infrastructure and Product Development to implement and test the organization's software defenses against various cyberattacks, playing an active role in red, blue and purple team exercises. This role is hybrid in KL.

Your contribution will be:

• Manage and support vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7) including scheduling, result analysis, and report generation.
• Support and enhance SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) including data ingestion, parsing, correlation rules, dashboards, and alerts.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and development teams to ensure proper tool integration and secure configurations across environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security tool performance, configurations, and updates.
• Maintain and document tool configurations, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Contribute to tool selection and evaluation processes by providing technical input and performing proof-of-concepts.
• Oversee security tooling and strategic automation as it relates to managing remediations at scale
• Assist in incident response and remediation of identified security-related events

To be successful , we think you need:

  • 3+ years’ experience in software security / penetration testing role, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with SIEM platforms like Splunk/QRadar etc
  • Experience supporting API security tools (e.g., AWS WAF, Cloudflare, F5, Imperva)
  • Blue team experience would be highly beneficial
  • Some cloud experience i.e. AWS/GCP/Azure
