Base pay rangeJob Responsibility
- Customer Communication â Communicate with customers in a professional manner via phone, email, or chat platforms, using Mandarin to respond to inquiries and provide support.
- Issue Resolution â Assist customers in resolving product or service-related issues by offering accurate and timely solutions.
- Customer Satisfaction Enhancement â Actively listen to customer needs to ensure a pleasant service experience and improve satisfaction and loyalty.
- Record Keeping and Documentation â Accurately document customer interactions, case progress, and outcomes to maintain up-to-date customer records.
- Internal Coordination â Collaborate with other departments such as technical support, logistics, or sales when necessary to ensure customer issues are properly resolved.
- Compliance with Procedures and Standards â Adhere to the companyâs customer service guidelines, communication procedures, and relevant policies to maintain professional service standards.
- Customer Follow-Up â Conduct follow-ups on unresolved issues or complaints to ensure complete resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Multitasking Under Pressure â Remain calm and adaptable while handling high call volumes and managing multiple customer needs efficiently.
- Language Requirement: Excellent in Mandarin and good of English in terms of verbal, written and comprehension
- Education level : SPM and above

About the role
We are seeking an experienced R&D Chemist to join our dynamic team at Sakata Inx (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in our Shah Alam, Selangor office. As an R&D Chemist, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and developing new products that cater to the evolving needs of our customers. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
What you'll be doing
Conduct in-depth research and development of new chemical products and formulations
Perform analytical testing and quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of product quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends and customer needs
Participate in the design, implementation, and optimization of laboratory experiments and protocols
Document research findings, analyse data, and prepare comprehensive reports
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the production and sales teams
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience as an R&D Chemist or in a similar role
Fresh-graduate is encouraged to apply
Proficient in the use of analytical equipment, such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and titrators
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Program Overview
Our Graduate Program provides an immersive experience in our company from day 1.
The program starts with a one-week Global Induction in Milan with trainings and activities led by the Prysmian Academy in collaboration with a Top-Ranking Business School.
Following your induction, you will be part of a one-year job rotation in 2 different departments: Research & Development and Operations in one of our production sites.
After the first year of rotation, you will take a role in the Country you have been hired in for 12 months aligned to business needs and your interests. The position will be technical, mainly based in one of our production sites, strongly linked to the core of our business.
Then, after completing your second year, you will start your international assignment for a duration of 3 years in one of our 50+ countries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in structured cross-functional job rotations to understand end-to-end business operations, including exposure to field sales, marketing, technical, and Finance.
- Engage in real-time projects that focus on market expansion, brand growth, process efficiency, and digital transformation.
- Gain direct exposure to senior leadership through mentorship, dialogue sessions, and strategic reviews. Contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives. Provide analytical, creative, or operational support depending on your assigned track.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and demonstrate initiative, accountability, and growth mindset.
- Attend leadership talks, development workshops, CSR and on-the-job training throughout the program. Demonstrate progress and learning through performance evaluations and milestone reviews .
- Embrace Etika’s values and contribute positively to team culture and business excellence.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Sales & Marketing Track - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, International Business, or Communications
- Finance Track - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation
- Technical Track - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering (with exposure to automation or manufacturing)
- Fresh graduates or those with less than 1 years of working experience.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5 and above
- Strong communication skills in English and Malay (or willingness to develop both fluently)
- Proactive, team-oriented, and ready to contribute ideas and initiatives.
- Willing to travel across Malaysia and Singapore as part of rotational assignments.
- Passion for the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry (FMCG) , with a mindset geared for dynamic, brand-centric work environments.
