Diploma or Degree in Design / Web / Graphic / Creative Multimedia / Social Media or equivalent Excellent design skills with a flair for layout and aesthetics Good working knowledge of print processes and finished artwork preparation Experienced in dealing with clients and suppliers Able to work independently and a team player Able to multi-task in a dynamic environment Min 2 - 3 years of related working experience in design agency, e-commerce or digital environment Highly skilled in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro/Final Cut Pro on PC and Mac Knowledge of HTML, Motion graphic and Illustration is an advantage Skills

Job Summary

• We are currently looking for a UX/UI designer to join our digital team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about creating effective, intuitive and beautiful experiences.
• The UX/UI Web designer will work with clients, Project Managers and technology teams to conceptualize and design our website, mobile site and eCommerce solutions we create across a range of industries.

Position Responsibilities

• Understand user & client needs and work both independently and with our team of UX and UI designers to develop concepts and solutions.
• Create prototypes and animation examples to fully explain experiences
• Present wireframes, flows, design concepts and solutions
• Partner with our project managers, developers, and the members of the creative team to create consistency in the user experience on the platforms we create.
• Work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Highly developed design skills, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent work
• Solid understanding of designing for functionality, navigation, interactions, and interfaces
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills (in English), excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Figma
• A team player who enjoys a collaborative environment. You’re flexible and open-minded
• Understanding of what is feasible with HTML/CSS/JS.
• eCommerce experience is an advantage
• Experience with digital agency environment is an advantage
• Fluency in English is a must.

Boston Scientific (BSC) APAC is seeking out a highly driven and detail-oriented UI Designer with a strong background in mobile and desktop user interface design, and digital user experience to design BSC’s digital platforms and effectively advance the Digital Commercial Excellence team’s communication strategy across the APAC region.

Who You Are: As UI Designer, you bring a passionate, yet structured design mindset to your work, along with the strong ability to nimbly adapt and proactively drive projects to completion. You have a strong aesthetic sense, and the ability to express your design flair within the BSC design guidelines.

The Opportunity: Under the guidance of the Senior Digital Supervisor, Senior Digital Producers, Platform Product Owners, and senior capability team members, you will play a key role in the creation and adaptation of graphic and UI designs. You will ensure the highest standards of BSC’s visual identity are maintained across all mediums, while actively collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life—from concept through execution. Your responsibilities will include crafting digital assets for stakeholder alignment, producing graphic/UI materials for the development team, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the user experience for both internal and external audiences.

This position will be based in KL, Malaysia but cover the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of user interfaces for various digital platforms, including web, social media, print, presentations, marketing campaigns, mobile app and others with guidance from senior members of your team
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, graphic designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive, visually engaging, and user-centric designs
• Create and maintain visual design assets such as mock-ups, brand templates, and marketing collateral in alignment with brand identity
• Manage project execution timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within the allocated resource
• Ensure all design outputs comply with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all digital and print touchpoints
• Stay current with emerging design trends, A.I. tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality and innovation of design solutions
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project status
• Troubleshoot and resolve any design-related issues that arise during the development process
• Optimize existing user interfaces for better performance and user engagement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Design, Multimedia, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design, UI design and digital production

Design, Video & Technical Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Figma or Canva is a plus
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects across digital, print, and video mediums
• Experience in video editing and motion graphics (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools)
• Deep understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy
• Solid grasp of UX principles, best practices, and user-centred design
• Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies

Soft Skills & Attributes

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Strong project and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented with a strong aesthetic sense and commitment to design quality
• Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
