The opportunity
In this role you will work along with our clients to transform their business through disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions. The team supports our clients in modernizing systems, processes and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and services to support high performance in a rapidly changing and competitive environment.
Your key responsibilities:
- You are the day-to-day point of contact for clients and senior managers on projects. You structure and engage teams to deliver high quality outputs.
- Along with senior management, you take the lead in identifying client issues and proposing the most appropriate approach for challenges that governments face.
- You help develop the business and acquire new clients and engagements, including the identification and pursuit of business opportunities by forging strong client relationships.
- You build and maintain long-term relationships with senior clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any other relevant discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in digital strategy and digital concept definition, with a clear track record of impactful, high-quality digital concepts.
- Good understanding/hands-on experience building applications/platforms.
- Experience in delivering digital projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology.
- You have conceptualized several of the following: digital service concepts, e-commerce platforms, self-service platforms, smartphone applications, chatbots, voice propositions.
- You have a strong business sense and know how to translate business objectives into digital solutions.
- You partner effectively with business stakeholders & solve problems. You’re comfortable and effective at framing decisions with clear and logical arguments.
- You have extensive experience with design sprints and concept creation with the use of design thinking as a philosophy.
- You are up-to-date on digital trends, mobile development, online marketing.
- You have good product intuition, but reinforce decisions through a deep understanding of customer insights and analytical data.
- You have experience with digital marketing and marketing automation suites.
- You are experienced with an agile development process and work collaboratively with full stack product teams.
- You know how to push things forward and constantly push toward clarity and successful delivery.
- You have strong written and oral communication skills, with experience facilitating group discussions and animating workshops and design studio’s.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Skilled in all aspects of Design Thinking including user research, functional requirements definition, business process analysis, business modelling, and workshop design and facilitation.
- Working knowledge of the full lifecycle of software development.
- Experience of working with or as part of a scrum team.
- Detailed knowledge of creating user stories/requirements definition/acceptance criteria using agile tools and techniques.
- Some prototyping / wireframing knowledge and experience.
- Experience of developing and documenting user stories and epics.

Overview
The Head of Digital Strategy & E-Commerce will lead our digital marketing efforts and drive ecommerce growth for our clients. As the Head of Digital Strategy & E-Commerce, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive digital strategies that align with our clients' business objectives and drive measurable results. You will also oversee our e-commerce initiatives, working closely with clients to optimize their online sales channels and enhance their digital presence.
Responsibilities
- P&L Management: Oversee the ecommerce budget to ensure the team has the appropriate structure and resources to meet client expectations while maintaining profitability.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing ecommerce team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Growth products/ ecommerce solutions: Identify and develop innovative ecommerce solutions and growth products to drive revenue. This includes staying current with industry trends, leveraging new technologies, and collaborating with internal teams to bring new offerings to market.
- Develop and execute innovative digital marketing strategies to achieve client objectives, including but not limited to brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Lead the development of comprehensive e-commerce strategies for clients, focusing on website optimization, conversion rate optimization (CRO), user experience (UX) enhancements, and digital advertising.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth
and stay ahead of industry trends. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and technical teams, to deliver integrated digital solutions that drive results.
- Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients, advising them on best practices and emerging technologies in digital marketing and e-commerce.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and digital marketing trends, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Min 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and digital strategy.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce principles, including website optimization, CRO, and online sales strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Lazada and Shopee On-Platform as well as Tik-Tok Shop
