Job Responsibility

Assist in the execution, testing, and integration of AV and IT systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely as assigned. Maintain detailed and accurate records of testing, commissioning, and service activities. Record and escalate client feedback or technical concerns encountered during service visits. Support the Quality Control process for installation, repair, and system integration. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks under supervision. Complete and submit post-task documentation, including job sheets and client sign-off forms. Take on any additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the management team.

Job Requirements

Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Experience in the Audio-Visual (AV) and IT industry is an added advantage. Basic AV installation skills, including wall-mounting TVs, and running audio and HDMI cables. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and logical thinking skills. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn. Willing to travel and work outstation when required.

Job Description

The technician must be able to:

  • Install and maintain audio visual equipment including display devices, projectors, televisions, camera systems, video teleconferencing systems (VTC), microphones, and speakers.
  • Provide excellent equipment services to meet client expectations.
  • Perform equipment storage and transportation activities safely and securely.
  • Manage inventory of equipment, wirings, and accessories to prevent shortages.
  • Set up and operate audio visual equipment for trainings, presentations, meetings, and conferences.
  • Perform additions, removals, repairs, replacements, and inspections of equipment.
  • Test equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Comply with hotel rules and regulations and be aware of disciplinary procedures.
  • Promote a helpful and professional image to customers, assisting promptly and courteously.
  • Anticipate customer needs to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
  • Assist colleagues as needed with a prompt, caring attitude.
  • Be flexible in supporting other hotel areas based on business and customer needs.

AV Technician 2 - Banquet

The AV Technician 2 is an essential member of the Banquet team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality technical support for Coda's platform to users, in-house developers, and global partners across various communication channels.
  • Monitor platform health and service availability using internal tools and dashboards; proactively identify and respond to anomalies, outages, and performance issues.
  • Assess, triage, and manage technical and functional inquiries from global stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple support cases concurrently, maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and SLA adherence.
  • Assist internal and external stakeholders in QA testing to validate functionality and ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Identify, investigate, and document incidents; escalate critical issues to the appropriate engineering or operations teams when needed.
  • Take ownership of incident response processes, including detection, impact analysis, stakeholder communication, coordination of response teams, and post-incident reviews.
  • Contribute to continuously improving monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes to enhance system resilience and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of technical support experience, preferably within the payments, e-commerce, fintech, or gaming sectors.
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related certifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility, adaptability to changes, and an intense urgency in addressing critical issues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, along with effective problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages and software development processes.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITSM platforms for incident tracking and resolution.

Location : Onshore / Offshore (as required)

Provide expert technical support and advice on subsea inspection and intervention requirements. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of subsea inspection programs in line with SIMS objectives. Review and interpret subsea inspection data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards. Recommend and implement appropriate intervention measures based on inspection findings. Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of SIMS services. Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Subsea Inspection Management System database and workflows. Ensure all inspection and intervention activities are performed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge of subsea systems, inspection methods (ROV, diver, NDT), and intervention techniques. Experience with Subsea Inspection Management Systems or equivalent asset integrity software.

We're looking for aLevel 1.5 Technical Support Technician,someone who can go beyond the basics to troubleshoot deeper technical issues, support user environments, and assist in maintaining IT systems. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide frontline and advanced desktop support to internal users and clients
  • Handle hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Support cloud-based systems such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.
  • Perform basic Active Directory tasks (user account creation, group permissions, etc.)
  • Assist with routine server checks, patching schedules, and documentation updates
  • Escalate complex incidents to L2/L3 teams with clear handover notes
  • Maintain accurate records of all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Work closely with Level 2 team on projects and deployments

Your Skills & Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across Windows 10/11, Office 365, and standard business apps
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and basic networking concepts
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ConnectWise, Freshservice)
  • Bonus: Exposure to MDM tools, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), or scripting (PowerShell)

  • Provide technical supports and product selection/solutions (mainly AHU) according to customer’s daily inquiries.
  • Prepare quotation and cost analysis as well as negotiating and closing project sales.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with technical key point and solutions for air handling unit is an advantage
  • Must possess good communication and personal skills, team work, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-tasking effectively and manage priorities in fast paced environment
