Full Job Description

Job Responsibility

Financial Management

  • Assisting superior to oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, adhering to accounting principles and local regulations.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and Bursa Malaysia listing regulations.

Financial Analysis

  • Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's performance.
  • Make recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Cash Flow Management

  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Optimize working capital by monitoring and controlling receivables and payables.

Taxation And Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and coordinate with external tax advisors.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time.

Audit Coordination

  • Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
  • Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelorâs degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (a professional accounting qualification and audit experience from previous job is a plus).
  • Several years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Experience with financial reporting and compliance requirements for Local authority requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and attention to detail and accuracy
