• Ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of equipment, in alignment with company strategies and goals
• Analyze equipment data for optimization, efficiency improvement, and automation opportunities
• Implement and integrate 4IR technologies (IoT, AI, robotics, automation systems, and data analytics) into existing manufacturing workflows.
• Responsible for maintenance & inspections, troubleshooting & repairs to maintain optimal performance. Lead in migration towards using data analytics and AI to anticipate and prevent equipment failures, reducing downtime and maintenance cost.
• Continuously capturing opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies, staying at the forefront of innovation and maximizing the benefits of 4IR advancements.
• Work closely with different teams, to optimize production processes, address challenges, and implement solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to operators, technicians, and other relevant personnel.
• Maintain records of equipment configurations, software, maintenance, performance, and upgrades. Generate reports to track progress and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Manage budgets, identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronic engineering, or a related field is required.

REQUIREMENT

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, automation, control systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Eagerness to stay updated with advancements in equipment technology and manufacturing processes.

PREFERRED:

• Relevant 2-3 years working experience in equipment engineering, maintenance, or a related field within a manufacturing environment is highly valued.
• Experiences, skills and knowledge in 4IR is a great advantage.

SKILLS

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in analyzing equipment performance data, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing improvements.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, articulate technical information, and collaborate on projects.
• Skills in managing projects related to equipment installation, upgrades, or process improvements, including budgeting and scheduling are added advantage.
