Full Job Description
Job Responsibility- Greeting customers as they enter the establishment in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, either in person, over the phone, or via electronic ordering systems.
- Providing recommendations and information about menu items, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
- Handling cash, credit card transactions, or electronic payments accurately and securely.
- Ensuring food orders are presented neatly and accurately.
- Serving food and drinks to customers promptly and courteously.
- Cleaning and maintaining the dining area, including wiping tables, sweeping floors, and emptying trash bins.
- Restocking supplies, such as napkins, utensils, condiments, and beverages, as needed.
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure the safety of customers and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to maintain efficient operations during busy periods.
- Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and resolving issues to the best of your ability.
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and
standards at all times.
Communication Skills
- Service crew members must be able to
communicate clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and
managers. This includes active listening, speaking clearly, and
conveying information accurately.
- Providing exceptional customer service
is a primary responsibility of a service crew member. This involves
being friendly, courteous, and attentive to customers' needs, as well
as handling inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and
diplomatically.
