Overview:
The Head of School plays a
pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape of our international
school. Working in parallel with the Head of Operations, this
individual is tasked with overseeing the academic integrity,
curriculum development, faculty excellence, and student academic
achievement within the AP program direction. The role demands a
visionary leader who embodies the ethos of international education,
fostering an environment that encourages both academic excellence and
holistic development.

Group
Key Responsibilities:
➢Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the school's
academic vision and goals in alignment with the Group's mission and
values.
➢Academic Management:
1.Oversee the development and
implementation of the school's curriculum, ensuring it meets
educational standards and is effective in achieving desired learning
outcomes.
2.Monitor and evaluate the academic performance of
students, teachers, and programs to identify areas for improvement and
ensure accountability.
3.Provide leadership and support to
teachers and staff in the planning, delivery, and assessment of
instruction.
4.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community
members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5.Represent the school in academic matters, including communicating
with stakeholders, attending meetings, and participating in
professional development activities.
➢Faculty Recruitment and
Development: Ensure effective faculty recruitment and facilitate
professional training, coaching, evaluation, and development.
➢Marketing and Communication: Assist in marketing the school and
establish effective communication strategies to build and grow the
school's brand name locally and abroad. Ensure all academic activities
are carried out ethically and professionally.
➢Safety and
Well-being: Manage the highest safety measures and ensure the health
and well- being of students and staff. Participate in the rotation of
evening and weekend duties to support student supervision outside the
daily class schedule.
Requirements:
➢Educational Background: A minimum of a Master's degree in
education or a related field is required, with a doctorate degree
preferred.
➢Leadership Experience: Significant experience in
educational leadership roles, preferably as a head of school or in a
similar senior administrative position, with a track record of
managing staff, overseeing curriculum development, and leading school
improvement initiatives.
➢International Experience: Familiarity
with international school systems, with an understanding of the unique
needs of international students, families, and staff.
➢Cultural
Competence: Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and
promote inclusivity and cultural sensitivity within the school
community.
➢Strategic Thinking and Vision: Clear vision for the
school's future and the ability to develop and implement strategic
plans to achieve this vision.
➢Communication Skills: Strong
communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with various
stakeholders and building positive relationships.
➢Compliance:
Knowledge of accreditation processes, and compliance with educational
regulations and standards.
