Job Purpose .
Managing of Finance and Risk application (Regional or in country) projects or BAU customisations/enhancements with the goal of delivering projects on time, within budget and scope.
Key
Responsibilities .
RFI/RFP PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Determine the
project objective, scope and requirement with SMEs and Solution
Architects.
Identify key stakeholders and SMEs to form a PSC and
Evaluation Committee.
Assist SMEs, Technical Leads, and Solution
Architects with technical solution and business
requirement.
Develop RFP pack, and any relevant RFP
documents
Review vendors' proposal, commercial and participate in
technical, business and pricing clarification and negotiation
Work
with GSP to develop the RFP/RFI project detail plan and
activity.
Conduct a PSC, project Kick off and facilitate the PSC,
Evaluation Committee, and internal meeting.
Conduct a RFP briefing
and bidder conference.
Coordinate and manage the vendor technical
presentation / POC
Develop, implement, and maintain the risk
management, issue management, and communication plans.
Manage
relationships and coordinate work between different teams.
Ensure
all RPF, project related documents are fulfilled as per project,
security governance and guideline.
Responsible for bridging the
communication gaps between different teams.
Escalate the issues to
the PSC and key stakeholders.
Track all the RFP, project activity,
action items, monitor progress and co-ordinate delivery dates.
PROJECT INITIATION
Develop a project charter.
Identify
key stakeholders to form a project team.
Setup project steering
committee and working committee.
Assist with technical solution
and business case.
Develop SOW and review contract. Participate in
contract / commercial / pricing negotiation.
Initiate purchase
requisition.
Kick off the project with stakeholders and working
committee
CONTROL
Track all orders coming into the Project
Office, monitor progress and co-ordinate delivery dates.
Monitor
deliverable progress of vendors and sub-contractors, and adherence to
the SOW and contract.
Measure project progress at clearly defined
points in the SDLC to ensure that the project is delivered on time,
within budget, and
that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance
scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as
necessary.
Maintain financial controls and systems for recording,
monitoring, forecasting and budgeting of all project
expenditure.
Review, collate, maintain and highlight changes to
project plans. Continue to update and improve project
methodologies.
Track and update registry of constraints,
dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues.
Assess the impact on
project and take action.
Produce weekly performance report and
monthly status report to update key stakeholders.
Produce weekly
PSC/ PWC slide and Minutes and chairing the PSC and PWC
meeting
Maintain existing departmental and Project Office policies
and procedures.
Support Program Manager or Director with day to
day running of project admin tasks
DESIGN
Manage
design and solutioning tasks.
Review and monitor deliverables of
Design Specification.
BUILD
Define development / build
cycles and deliverables.
Manage development / build tasks and
schedule.
Track closely the procurement, delivery and setup of new
infrastructure and configuration of existing environment, e.g.
data
center, network, backup.
Review and be responsible for
the overall application development and system integration.
TEST
Define and document testing strategy. Identify and
source the required tools and resources.
Manage test plans,
scenario and scripts and overall testing progress.
DEPLOY
Define and document deployment strategy.
Manage
deployment planning and execution.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT &
TRAINING
Support CMT Team on the process and training
SUPPORT (POST PRODUCTION)
Plan and setup post live support
and ensure it is operational.
Organise and facilitate closure of
project.
Complete benefit analysis at the end of the project and
present the findings to management.

Qualifications (Basic Degree/Diploma etc.)
University degree
Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification Computer Science /
Information Technology or it's equivalent.
Professional
Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements
Certification in CMMI and PMP
Relevant Work Experience
2
years in RFP/RFI Project Management
Min 2 years in
banking/financial services industry
Min 3 years in managing and
delivering large regional project (> RM 10 Mil)
5 years in
software development life cycle and processes
10 years in Project
