Job purpose

To prepare financial target and aspiration for Axiata Group.

Scope & authority

• Ensure good financial governance at Axiata Corporate Center & Axiata Operating Companies (OpCo).
• Work with OpCo and Axiata FP&A working teams to prepare their annual budgets.
• Prepare Group forecast and consolidation for presentation to Axiata SLTs.
• To co-drive digitisation initiative, of the finance function within the group, including working with peers in Group Accounts, Treasury & Corporate Finance, Group Business Operations, as well as OpCos.
• Challenges in the role: Effective stakeholder management of Axiata and OpCo working teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance LENs (the business planning module) to optimise financial planning process and effectiveness.
• Preparing Axiata annual business plan.
• Financial performance management:

a) review and analysis to provide early warning signs of underperformance; and together with

GBO team, develop mitigation plans for OpCos.

b) Prepare Group forecast consolidation by analysing results against budgets and performed

variance analysis for improvement going forward.

• Setting and closing for Axiata and OpCos financial KPIs; and supporting GBO team on securing board approval for Axiata and OpCo corporate scorecards.
• Manage Axiata Corporate Centre budget and performance, including cost recovery from OpCos.

Role requirement:

• Minimum 5-10 years relevant work experience post a Bachelors' degree. Academic or professional background in business, finance and/or capital markets.
• Results-oriented and enterprising, with a problem solving mindset.
• Multi-tasking with limited resources, ability to collaborate within multi-functional and multi-cultural teams, able to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills, with expertise in financial modelling and projections.
