Full Job Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

• Identify, develop and secure new business that is profitable to meet the department's sales targets and key performance indicators
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet corporate goals
• Manage and handle new RFQ requests and ensuring that the RFQs' are responded and followed through in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain close business relationship and rapport with customers and potential customers
• Maintain close working relationships will divisions and departments within the group
• To negotiate for contracts and co-ordinate all related activities to ensure the completion of these projects
• Undertake cross selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through airfreight, sea freight, road freight, value added products and contract logistics.
• Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
• Responsible for effective management and planning of a project through working together with various departments in resource allocation and scheduling, project accounting and control, safety and compliance control and quality standard
• Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management

Requirement -
1. Minimum 5 years' in in logistics, supply chain management or FMGC environment
2. Excellent track records in securing and developing key customers accounts
3. Strong hunter with the relevant established network and clientele
4. High level of customer service ability
5. Excellent planning, problem-solving, collaboration, decision making, and organization skills.
6. Able to champion new initiatives, change management and building teams
7. Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, presentation, diplomacy and patience.
8. Strong drive and self-initiated
