Resolve network performance issues related to availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; plan and execute the installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; define network policies and procedures; establish connections and firewalls.
Evaluate and improve system performance; propose enhancements to the network infrastructure, including hardware and services.
Ensure network connectivity across LAN/WAN infrastructure meets technical standards.
Maintain network services such as VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems.
Upgrade network components by consulting with vendors; develop, test, evaluate, and implement enhancements. Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshoot problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
Secure the network by developing access controls, monitoring, and documentation.
Maintain and troubleshoot wireless infrastructure within the office and remote locations.
Maintain and troubleshoot Network Access Control (NAC).
WHO YOU ARE:
Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of solid experience in network-related fields.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or additional languages is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Network Administration and Engineering.
Familiar with Cloud Network architectures (Google, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba, AWS).
Knowledge of Cloud Network modules and configuration.
Preferably experienced with Public Cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Self-motivated, able to multitask, communicate effectively at all levels, team player, and quick learner.
