Purpose of Role

We are looking for an Assistant Teacher to join the National Primary school and help us take our learners to the next level in their learning.If you want to be part of our team you will need to be experienced and knowledgeable about the teaching of our national language. You must also be passionate about learning and knowledgeable about the factors that affect learning. You will be good at working with and inspiring your colleagues, our students and their parents.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in education
• At least 1/2 years of relevant assistant teacher experience is required.
• Preferably having experience in teaching Primary National School.

St Joseph’s Institution International School (SJIIS) is a Lasallian International School (3 to 18 years). Experience of supporting students across different age ranges and proficiency in Mandarin, as well as English, will be an advantage.

The School Counsellor will work closely with the Senior Leadership team and Heads of Year to support students and promote a culture that highlights the importance of wellbeing. The School Counsellor will provide individualised support to students as well as leading group and class sessions around wellbeing and mental health in response to needs, trends both within a local and international context.
